The film would be more justified for giving the driver a single mother girlfriend, if the movie actually treated the driver like the morally grey character he is. It should've presented itself as having a character with mostly bad morals and actions, getting exactly what he deserves, and compromising with that in the end. The more you look into films or shows with this angle, you'll notice how a good majority of their plots or subplots revolve around some guy chasing around a 2000 body-count haunted house.

I've never seen Driver since I thought it was some Reddit movie, this just reinforces it.

Drive is alright, but I don't get why that movie alone became the 'icon' of the Literally Me genre. The original novel is slept on tho.

I guess maybe out of all of them (Fallen Down, Taxi Driver, Nightcrawler, Heat, both Blade Runner films, etc.) it's the most normie friendly? I mean the Driver is basically a straight up hero compared to the rest and his story is the most optimistic.

It did inspire Hotline Miami but I'd even argue Hotline Miami is better (themes, plot wise) over Drive ironically enough. Jacket is way cooler than the Driver and Gosling had a better character in Agent K from 2049 anyways.

As stated before, Fallen Down or maybe Nightcrawler is way better as a film set in LA. They actually captured the shithole part of the city so you could sort of see why the main characters went down the way they are. I mean it's the same city that spawned Juju the Cow, formerly Dax- you get it. Living in LA gives you a weird gypsy curse that sets you down a dark path. Whereas it always felt Drive didn't really make much use of its setting aside from explaining why there's so many spics and for the pretty visuals.

But the based thing about Drive is that it spawned a brief antisemitism panic because the main villain were Jewish mobsters lol.
Old Jewish grandma wanted to sue the movie lmao. So still has a slightly special place in my heart.

He plays wrong beacuse he has ADHD and zero patients. He refused to crouch and keep alerting the enemies around him. Only reason he dosent die more is beacuse the game is very generous with healing items.

TBF, stealth is legitimately broken and enemies can just detect you through certain objects and walls. It even happened to Synth on stream, so i can't fault him for that. What i can and did fault him for, is pretending not to know how anomalies work when the game explicitly told him how they work via the CINEMATIC GOYSLOP CUTSCENE GUYS AREN'T I EDGY?!!?, and when he showed footage of him playing Shadow of Chernobyl on the last podcast, proving he already knew how anomalies work from the previous games.

I can't think of any reviews from him that I would qualify as such.
In honesty, I don't think any of his game reviews are bad in terms of review content. Maybe some of the padding/filler detracts from them, like the tangents et al., but in my eyes it's just a minor inconvenience that I'm literate enough to filter out and laugh along.
I will say though, his movie reviews are weak, though that's understandable. I doubt he is as much into movies/shows compared to vidya.
That said, I would love it if he made a full review of Blade Runner 2049. His commentary on the movie is pretty interesting.

It was an obvious skit for the sake of entertainment, and taking it as a point to criticize the review side of the video is retarded.
I heavily disagree that would be his worst review.
On a different topic...
Synth raged hard against chat in today's stream. Those custom breakers' matches really seem rigged to me. Having played the game, it doesn't check out how he loses against chat, and also loses with chat. He isn't bad at the game, not at all.

There's a difference between chris chan yelling "get my stuff off the internet", and a guy getting angry that his fans are throwing in a game they asked to be apart of. Trying to project synth as a lolcow is forced, gay, and nigger behavior.

maybe not a lolcow, but it's funny white LTG style of rage though. It's still lolcalf at the very least because he said that chats are just words on screen to him, but here is him raging at words on screen. He says he is comedian in the stream, but I think he just a dude who likes to have no filter when speaking. we all have embarrassing thoughts sometime that would be best to kept inside, but it's a stream and coby likes to make money (not clown money where he gets paid to be insulted, he ain't that desperate yet)

So I guess I'm trying to say, synth wants to minimize the parasocial relationship from the chats, but he still wants attentions/superchats from his views (just enough to be comfortable and respectable attentions; not weird, insulting type of attentions). However hitting that balance is quit difficult for someone who really wants to have no filter but force a filter on himself. And yes, most zoomers are soulless, I seen weird synthcels on discord being complete psycho/gooners.
