Isn't it kinda pointless to treat his drug addiction when he also has a gambling addiction? Apparently there is a Gamblers Anonymous, but they only have 7 meetings in all of Virginia. Bossman made me look into the treatment of gambling addiction and it seems pretty bad. It's usually treated as a dual diagnosis with substance abuse, but gambling is Bossman's job.

His brain may be shit, but that can work to our advantage. Just need to use gambling to get him sober. Give him free casino tokens for every day he stays sober or something. Cut off his access to any gambling the moment he even thinks about crack. And obviously stream the whole thing to the internet.

It’s really got nothing to do with their enabling - if he was in control it would not matter. He’s an addict and the forced absence of drugs won’t make a dent in his addiction. And even if mom and dad stop enabling him it won’t make a dent. When he is in control (which will never happen), external forces won’t be the catalyst. This is why a mere 28 day program is a mere band aid for the courts.

We know where he will be at 4 weeks after release. Drugs are so easy to get now and so cheap, you can almost call any parental support enabling. If they kick him out that would merely enable his downfall lightening fast.

He’s got to want it and he doesn’t. We know where this cow is heading - the slaughter house.

Surprised Bossman hasn't played gambaesque games save for CSGO with the loot boxes. I always thought games like Balatro, Bingle Bingle, or Slice & Dice would be up his alley but there's actually some thought process mixed into them other than just gamba mechanics so maybe they'd be to much for him.

He actually does worse in games with any skill element to them like blackjack, even if the skill just reduces your loss rate rather than has you +EV on the game. He'd get ripped to shreds in any PvP involving skill.

Playing Balatro doesn’t net you money for Civics or crack. He’s not gambling for the fun of it, lol. The majority of the games he plays have some sort of monetary swing to them. RuneScape? He can flex his items to fags and sell the account. CS2? He can flex his skins which are worth money and can be sold.

Dude only played Elden Ring for a few hours before totally giving up on it because there’s no flexing or money to be made lost.
