My favourite thing about Mr Nubly is I don't care which scenario is true. I love his work regardless of if he really means it or it's a parody because it's just really funny.

I don't think "penis cuttinghole station" or "I ALSO LOVE FUCKING DOGS! ME TOO! ME TOO!"" counts as "penning all his fears into schizoposts I think it'sjust absurdist internet humor shit lmao. I can't take shit like skibidi minion or constant boners everywhere super seriously and I don't thinkit's even meant to be taken seriously in the slightest. Only thing vaguely serious was that pre-END OF THE FUCKING WORLD comic where he's unironically claiming clown pepe is a sympol of rising fascism but everyone makes a fucky once and a while. The fact he'ss till making the ending instead of rage quitting the whole thing ofer kamala losing like other people did shows that the guy was more than likely if not definitely always in it for "the funny".Even though there's like him making funof people he doesn't agree with or like you see the people that are sane/normal being depicted as fucking weird disgusting looking spuds too. Matt Walsh parody bathroom comic is a key fucking example of this.

Revisited the OP for a quick skim. His style doesn't really gel with me, but I find it incredibly charming to see hardbacks that look like they would have come straight out of when I was ordering them from Scholastic as a child (not that you'd find his stuff within a mile of that).

On his Reddit account that I found, he has a post where he says "Trump should've lost but what can you do?" which is way more tame of a response compared to other people following the election. The "but what can you do?" makes sense because he's Canadian. I feel this shows he's mostly in it for the funny/doesn't take this shit online too seriously. Good for him, I still think you can enjoy his comics regardless of your political affiliation.

Anyway, I hope his bank issues are sorted out soon and without much difficulty as I eagerly await both endings of the comic. Also when the comic ending is out I will likely make an update to the OP with all the fun Spingle lore. I just want to wait for the endings just in case he reveals anything new.

The comic where the grandpa goes to hell and casually just goes "ah... oh. ow..." in response to getting maimed and tortured is a really good example of this. It baits you twice, where you first thinkit's gonna be about "oh maga people are facists!" and then it'slike "oh no he's just a stupid guy that hates liberals and went to hell!" and then the real reason he went to hell is because he gave his family's money to the universally fucking hated blackrock company in a one panel end gag.
