I think that he's doing exactly this, but in a subtle, sneaky, long term way. He's "opened" the marriage, and is encouraging Kelly to have all the risky hookups that her fat engorged heart desires, do the drugs and whatever else she wants to. Maybe the deal is that she takes better care of the girls and the house in exchange for free time, but what I personally suspect is that Jerry wants Kelly to get herself killed, by whatever- or whoever- blowing up in her face.

As someone up thread pointed out, kicking her massive arse out is not only physically impossible, it's legally impossible too. A family court judge would fuck Jerry straight in the arse and beyond a shadow of a doubt he'd lose the house, custody of the girls and have to pay almost his entire salary in alimony and child support. Kelly is the poster child for how a system can be ruthlessly used and exploited by the exact type of parasite that it's supposed to protect others from. And while Kelly certainly doesn't want her children, being a raging narcissist she will absolutely fight tooth and nail to keep them from someone who does.

Tbh I would be uncomfortable if my therapist turned out to have certain political views... but that's why I don't ask. And I'm pretty sure it's why therapists don't generally share that stuff. More than anyone else, they have to be able to put their opinions aside when helping their patients.

I have a feeling the therapist was making some good points and forcing Kelly to take a good look at herself, and this is a deflection. How can she trust anything the therapist says if they disagree about world politics? For people like Kelly, everything is black and white, and people are either perfect or they're monsters. Hence, the therapist can't possibly be right about X when she's so wrong about Y.

It wasn't long ago when Kelly admitted that she does want to lose weight on some level, but hates that she wants it. She forces herself to overeat in front of family to keep up the facade, even though she doesn't enjoy it. Part of her knows she has to change but she is extremely resistant, and this is just part of it.

You know, when you want something like love, the best thing to do is to use to give it to someone else. Make sugar free hot chocolate and watch something family friendly. Take the girls to school. Make a healthy dinner. Put everyone on a healthy homework/dinner/bath/read/sleep schedule. Do chores together so you don't have to be alone. I don't have advice deeper than that, because it's not that deep.

Nah, I can believe one of her sketchy FetLife hookups did something to her that she didn't agree to. Moreover she never said she was raped, but assaulted... Which is not the kind of sentence I ever thought I would ever say or type out, as both are horrifying and now I sound like a rape apologist.

Despite trying to sound like some mega kinky furry badass, Kelly's a lot more "vanilla" than the vast majority of people hanging around that site, and finally found someone who was actually into what she claims she's into.
