Trump dropped three nominations for Labor, Treasury, and OMB. The labor one made the Teamster guy super happy:

Lori Chavez-DeRemer is the only young MAGA Republican from Oregon who successfully ran for office, but she lost this re-election by only a couple thousand votes. I don't know how a failed freshman conrgresswoman is the best fit for Labor, but it's at least nice that Trump is giving her something after she lost a race that she should have won if not for Portland-adjacent TDS. Odd pick based on what little I know about her..

Women aren't hard to win with. What people don't want to vote for is Hillary Clinton or Kamala Harris.
Yes and no. The real issue is that women hate other women, and really hate women in powerful positions. They instinctively see them as a potential rival. Probably depresses 2-3% of the vote in a close election.

Men don't really care if the candidate is a woman or not, men are driven more by practical concerns; so long as she's competent, they'll accept her. If she also looks good, that can only help.

But women will never give an attractive, young, powerful woman the benefit of the doubt and will actively try to sabotage her whenever they can, even if not consciously. If she's ugly and old, they'll still hate her for having higher social status.

I don't have a problem with the "vaccine" being offered and encouraged for old or otherwise vulnerable people. If it was presented like a flu shot, not forced on anyone, and used as a tool mainly to harden vulnerable populations so they could stop freaking out about COVID, then it is objectively an amazing feat of science and manufacturing.

The problem with the clot shots was always their forced use on people who didn't need it, the lies about their efficacy, and the restrictions that Democrats and left wing institutions put on people to force them to take it.

Please, God, let this happen. If Elon buys MSDNC the salt will be glorious.
He should buy CNN from Warner-Discovery instead and rebranded it XNN. Part of the problem with anyone buying MSNBC is it relies heavily on NBC News' infrastructure and that support will not be included with the sale. W-D is hard up and is approaching unserviceable levels of debt.

He should buy it and rename it to Musk’s Spotlight on News, Business, and Culture.

Anyone who says "women can win elections just like men" has never seen an office with a woman boss and a mostly female workforce. Women hate female hierarchies, the only way they work is if everyone is friends outside of work too. The work itself, professionalism, objective achievement, none of that will help. They'll tolerate it if they're working in a "greater good" organization but that won't stop the complaints and the cliques, in fact it makes things worse.

Translate that to politics and you see the problem. Female candidates either need to have a relatable, parasocial connection with women voters, or they need to pull an "us vs them" against a boogeyman (literally, men). Both Clinton and Harris were Us vs Them candidates. No woman on the Democratic side seems able to pull off the parasocial candidate role, with the possible exception of Oprah; but she may have spent her clout by now.

I think that's wrong. You're letting misogyny get the best of you.

I really hoped Elon would buy it, and then give it to Alex Jones as the ultimate troll.
Who needs NBC's infrastructure when you have a humble water filter salesman?

Allan Lichtman AKA Keysus Christ is back with more copium. In his latest stream, he's smug because he predicted that Gaetz wouldn't become the AG.

This is something we all knew was likely not going to happen unless Trump fought for it, which he didn't. I guess the Election Nostradamus is now all about making mild predictions about whatever the fuck sticks now.
He's too old to pull off that hair color. It's almost as bad as Guiliani dying his hair jet black at 80.
Editing your post over a sticker is nigger behavior.
To make my point clearer, the situation is so much different this time that your opinion is retarded. The first term's problems were all BECAUSE he picked the traditional, normative GOP cabinet. He's doing the exact opposite this time.
Yes, you tard, he chose the wrong people. That was the thesis of my argument. But thank you for replying this time and not downdooting like a redditor.

New example of him choosing awful people (or listening to the wrong people, either way):

Damn, this administration is pissing a lot of people off and we haven't even started yet.
It's really hard to figure out on this health topic. You got anti-almost everything RFK and then this? Oh well. I still prefer dealing with this kind of controversy and debate vs end of world wars and other crap.

@verissimus Out of that list only Whitmer has a freaking chance at all. AOC's a joke, Warren's old and hated more than even the usual lefty hags. Whitmer won't do any better nationally than Walz, brings nothing.
