Ossoff is up in '26, not Warnock. Though both are strong Democratic candidates that I can very easily see either/both gunning for the White House. Only thing that gives me pause is that Dems would have to fight to keep their seat blue.

Kemp is going to challenge, his success will be based on Trumps term up to that point. Ossoff wont have Fulton and Dekalb work as hard as they would for Warnock.

I mean I can certainly say that her sex wouldn't have changed my vote - I fully agree she was a deeply dislikeable and under-qualified candidate. I do observe that of the women who do achieve the top seat in government there is a marked tendency for them to be Right Wing. Across Europe we see Georgia Meloni, Marine Le Penn, Alice Weidel, that Serbian lady who became Prime Minister. All quite nationalistic and Right Wing. So I would make a point that perhaps one side of the political aisle is more influenced by it than the other. The Right Wing circles I've moved in rarely does a candidate's sex come up. In Bongland most of the Right Wingers I know are very favourable towards Kemi Badenoch who is not only female but (because Democrats seem to think she shouldn't be) also Black. The Right generally doesn't care that much when it's at an individual level. I'm willing to believe you that it's not a deciding factor. However, I have seem the same patterns @WhiskeyJack has in multiple professional environments and even had women tell me the same thing. So I don't know how it translates into elections but I wouldn't wholly discount what he says because of my own observations. I'd only suggest that maybe it's worth looking at whether what he says applies equally to both sides of the aisle or if there might be a division. It's worth considering at least.

Also, I could well see Tulsi Gabbard becoming first woman POTUS. Not only do I think she might be good at it, it would also be hilarious given that the DNC passed her up for the candidacy.

Most of these consumer goods are elastic. People don't need them. If they're tariffed to fuck, people won't buy them. Basically gives the manufacturers no choice but to source and hire locally, or else lose business
