Thinking that a faggot will earnestly condemn any part of LGBTIQ freakshow is so funny and childish. If they ever do some shit that requires commentators, I hope La'Ron is one of them. Ever since he's been off the show, he's made a lot of great impressions on FT Fans that came away thinking he was a useless crybaby. I enjoy reading his insights and opinions, I think he's perfect for a commentator type role.

Throw in a cute line that endears her to the new fish, pretend to have a semblance of a personality. She knows what this show is but instead of taking this as an opportunity to reinvent herself for the camera (which anyone on even a normal reality show needs to do to get screen time), she's being her dull self all over again. I guess her plan is to blend into the background as she did before and coast to the finish line, which makes sense from a competition standpoint based exclusively around eliminations, yes, but as a viewer it's annoying and incredibly disappointing because she's been through this before.

Luke is soaring and heading for the moon after his abrupt exit during FH1. Burt stocks are plummeting but he's trying to do something different and I appreciate that; he's also still Burt and makes content through existing, in part due to how people react to him (and his gay love quest). Slimeball isn't fully participating socially because he's going back and forth between it's so over and we could bring it back after Luke came back and TTS keeps jabbing him in ways only the audience/former fish can appreciate, which is content in and of itself. Binx hasn't done much but she draws a bit more attention whilst avoiding bringing too much attention towards herself and has a mission from production she needs to get to doing.

The Boyz Club is compromised of bros who don't do anything special but have carved out enough personality to make me give a fuck about them, like when Famous House happened. Star is clearly the mama bear of the group and her being this sweet and nice has me feeling on edge which, again, content in and of itself. Is she a plant? Is there a secret? When will Jobe say nigga to her face and get smacked? Breezy is the all-in reality TV schemer. We're waiting for Gaydon's downfall.

EVERYONE in the house on day one immediately is bringing something to this show. Payton is in the same spot as Our Wife where they're both fine looking and seemingly normal, but one of them has been through Fish Tank and is in on the secret and the other is an oblivious fish. I just expect more from her at this point.

The highlight feature helps but it doesn't keep posts on topic or ensure they get enough feedback for them to be highlighted in the first place. For instance, if someone jumps in here with an update about Jon it may only get 2-3 ratings and be lost a hundred pages back later on. The same goes for many other things that get posted in here.

I mean just for khantext here for people disagreeing with me and saying "Fishtank doesn't need a subforum" and trying to provide some reasoning for why it doesn't - I won't vehemently disagree with you, but a long time ago I was the forum mod when the DSP subforum was started which contained the largest and I believe fastest-moving thread on the forum (it reached 10k pages) and got like 30+ million views. That subforum alone has more posts than most subforums on here and I contributed a lot to making threads that stuck around for ages (I believe it was also at least part of the reason why the highlight feature was developed in the first place, but I could be wrong - some of the threads there have been used as examples of it working well: https://kiwifarms.st/threads/a-final-solution-to-the-wiki-question.64600/post-5852133)

I think the problem is that people don't understand why a subforum would be valuable for something like fishtank because they can't see what a subforum would look like. Having media/video threads and fanart threads as well as threads for the most interesting participants (old & new) brings quite a lot of value and attracts people to not only view the threads that the subforum contains more but gets people wanting to engage with the threads more in the first place.

Without a subforum its very hard to parallelize discussion into simultaneous interesting discussions - this is just going to end up being a single thread that is thousands of pages long with no separation.
