Mega Rad Gun Thread

I want a shotgun I can use for general fun like skeeting and duck hunting but will also come in handy during the boogaloo as a door breacher/drone smacker. What action should this 12 gauge be? I’m looking at the Remington Tac 13 V3 but there are less expensive pump action products that fill a similar purpose with less speed. Whatever I pick it will need to be small enough to throw on a retaining strap/magnet behind my right arm on a plate carrier while not inhibiting movement. Ideally I could also use it in 3 gun shooting.
870 that takes 3". Much like your mother. B

I have a Stoeger M3000 that I've been duck/goose hunting for years. It's inertia driven semi auto so it's not picky with ammo. I modded it with a larger safety, birdcage bolt handle, and improved follower for 3 gun. I personally don't like opening up the loading port cause I hunt, but you can do whatever.

Ok americans, how do you find good info on long term reliability on your guns? Europoor whos finally gotten through the paperwork for some good stuff like a PCC. Kinda considering the cmmg resolute mkgs or just some basic blowback "AR9" and change parts when I get more experience

Might not be too relevant for you as a Eurofag but the Battlefield Vegas thread on Arfcom is a pretty decent read. It's a tourist-oriented rental range just off the Strip so it's probably one of the highest trafficked ranges in the world and the owner goes in depth about what goes on with a rifle that has hundreds of thousands of rounds through it.
There's a thread roundup around the halfway point since they don't have a highlights feature like the Farms do but the whole thread is pretty interesting even having to deal with arfcom's godawful UI.

So I got this pen, but I can't get it to write. 20241124_201945.jpg

All it wants to do is fold in half but no tip comes out.

Yes I know what it actually is and yes it is legal.

Mossberg used to have this deal where they'd sell the model 500 shotgun with the 18.5" (short but not requiring special paperwork for all 50 states) and they also threw in a 22" I think it was ribbed target/hunting barrel. Swapping them was very easy.

The 500 was well known to be cheap and reliable, the 590 was built a bit tougher. I have never heard of a pump shotgun giving people issues with standard shells.

If you're a poor, get a Mossberg 590 or a Rem 870. If not poor, Beretta 1301/Benelli M4. Forget the strap idea, you're not going to carry a full size shotgun and a rifle together. If you get a pump and bring it down to a pistol grip breacher configuration, MAYBE, but the lack of stock will render it useless for most tasks, and you 're better off just carrying more mags for your rifle anyway.

Anyone have experience with bushmasters BA50? I know it's the same as a R2MI. I'm debating between that and a M99 (which i love). I would prefer mag fed, but they don't make the M95 anymore and I can't find one for sale at a reasonable price
