"Current year" terms that piss you off

"Cinema" or "Absolute Cinema".
Especially on Twitch chat.
There's only one man that could make "Cinema" or "ABSOLUTE CINEMA" cool

"Reproductive Rights"

Just say baby killing.
I'm a pro-choice libtard, and even I hate this one. Nobody is trying to infringe on your right to reproduce. Abortion is the opposite of reproduction.

I also hate "pro-abortion" from the opposite end of the spectrum. Every time I see it, I know I'm dealing with a smug, performative e-Christian. "Pro-choice" and "pro-life" worked perfectly fine for decades.

Pro-choice literally means pro-abortion, I don't care how you word it.

We're only making plans for Nigel.
Without even clicking, I know what this is and it's already in my head...bc it always pops in when I see the name.

...but you didn't include the official video...which I've never seen before and am kind of stunned bc Andy Partridge looks completely different than by the time of "Dear God" or ever after. I've gone all these years never seeing this video.

But so here's the official, bc a guy in drag in 1979 is always fun, AND I think I found Smartschoolboy9's inspiration for his look.

I'm ashamed of it but "Errm, what the sigma" in the Squidward voice makes me crack a smile just because of how damn stupid it sounds
Yeah the original clip did make me chuckle. But seeing so many people incorporate it into their vocabulary got annoying fast.

I prefer pro/anti-abortion in general, because pro-choice and pro-life both seem so charged and obviously attempt to show the moral superiority of their respective sides.

Mic drop moment and mic drop. It's an old one, but this triggers my visions of the old smug liberals, SNL-loving types, fetishising everything Obama used to do. There are just so many better words and terms to describe what it signifies without being an annoying, Reddit pop-culture obsessed retard.

Oh yeah, hearing the original clip is what I meant. Hearing actual zoomers say it is just nauseating.
It's like how "It is Wednesday, my dudes" was pretty funny until it became popular.

Fundamentally any post-ironic "being genuine is cringe"-ism that has been popularised by western zoomers and generation alpha (and their millennial tubers) is niggeraids.

"Blud" or "bro did/said x" or "thats crazy" or "blud" or "erm" or any others. Any of these infantile, canned phrases have utterly destroyed any semblance of genuine conversation in mainstream websites.
