The main eye opener for me in this one is just how much people in America seem to tolerate about psycho sexual freaks who happen to be black. Conner makes a stupid remark about women regaining their body image post baby, and he is attacked on sight and publicly.

Seeing it play out like that is enough to make most straight white men and likely a few women really question why they give blacks such a fucking easy time over and over again. I'm sorry, Famous House 2.0 was a great idea, last night was the most interesting the show has been since Gorlok. Yeah it ruined all the remaining contestants, but it by itself was better than all of week 5 of Season 2, and I'd rather know I hate a Fish before they win the $50k.

The issue is they didn't think at all past the premise. They just reset the show and told all the Fish to act boring. There should be something to this other than being a catty soap opera cunt and playing like it's a real reality TV show, and there definitely shouldn't be a elimination of an actual contestant 12 hours into the next act, not when Mizzy was kicked just a couple of days before.

However, I can save this.

Let this run for a couple of days. Let Binx keep up with her boring egirl manipulation scheme. She thinks if she can eliminate Burt and Payton, she has won $50k.

Let her.

Let her scheme and manipulate and have Luke help behind her back. Burt is an easy next target, then give Luke immunity and get Binx to backstab Payton. Tell her "Luke can't win, he wasn't here for the last 3 weeks" so she thinks that applies to all the other new Fish. And when she conieves her way into kicking them out, rug pull that boring slut. Reveal Fishtank, reveal who the final 4 were, that Binx thought the rest couldn't win the $50k, played them all to win, and that she's wrong.

Then we have a 10 day full speed elimination test and see who wins.

It's pretty funny seeing a lot of the same people who were crying about coddle tank and the lack of fairness in the past now saying that Luke - a plant who hasn't been fucked with by production once - is the only one who "deserves" to win.

To be clear, I want him to win too. But it shows how people never really cared about the game being fair. They just didn't like the people who were being "coddled" (which is completely understandable to be fair).

Luke is going through more Hell living with these faggots than Binx and Payton have been through all season.

Binx is the only one of the four that said it was terrible. The pedo shit was such a fucking disaster that it ended up earmarking Luke for destruction on day 1. The only people to get votes against them were the plants, Luke, Burt and Simbol. Now that Simbol is gone Luke and Burt are the two most likely to be killed off. Binx is stuck playing this catastrophically bad hand she has been dealt as well as she can, she has to fucking glaze the pedo dude to the piece of shit normies that were brought in as contestants just to survive. Its positively fucked. Either Jet abandons this Famous House act quickly or you're going to lose Luke and Burt in short order and likely Payton and Binx as well.

I already told you this once but since you ignored it to post this again, I'll say it again. Binx was directly given a mission from Sam to make sure Brandon has no friends. She ignored that mission so she could suck up to and defend Brandon. She actively went against the game and her mission because she felt so strongly about child drag being acceptable.

Yeah that's exactly why I don't want to watch or listen to shit about it. It's like whenever a lolcow abuses an animal and there are 500 pages of people wanting death of them. It is for the most part predictable, but that would be more like if a lolcow had an actual conviction for child abuse. In this case its more like when a lolcow gets a pet and takes really bad care of it, and you still get 500 pages of people wanting death on them.

Like I get, its horrible and so is drug dealing and all that - its just that when you have 8 new people on the show, plus Luke which adds another layer of complexity, suddenly having to deal with a kiddy dragrace fucker is never going to end well. People wanted "justice" or some shit and it didn't work out how they expected.

Like you said earlier (I think it was you or someone else) production should've tried to use peer pressure and done the whole thing in a group settings. They screwed up and the better option would've been to just fuck off the kiddy dragrace fucker silently - fishtank isn't court, so anyone expecting catharsis was probably expecting too much (they may have gotten catharsis is Sam Hyde physically threw the guy out or some shit like that, but that didn't happen because they fucked it up)

I think at that point it's just forum culture. Everyone is allowed an opinion and the one way to filter through the noise is highlights or seeking out specific posters.

What I will say though is that Fish Tank is far more manageable than the Rackets thread for example. When I wake up and there's over five new pages to catch up on, I get hyped as fuck: something happened on this show I'm watching and I get to read people's thoughts on it and discuss it with others! Fuck yeah! When anything happens to Rackets, I find out through the board-wide notice and I'm fatigued after hopping through 10 highlights because most of them were comedic asides and I still don't know what the fuck is happening.

This is just a difference in preference here I think, but the community aspect of seeing a page of 5 different posters all announcing they've unendorsed someone for a stupid thing that happened three pages back is part of the fun for me. Sometimes chat is too fast or too slow, sometimes I'm not around when the interesting shit happens. Normally I don't catch shit live and "live watching" with the people in the thread has been part of the reason I've stayed around through some of the quieter days, and the shit that made me MATI.

Hell, production fucked up with Brandon, we can agree on that. But I have my catharsis: a bunch of strangers on Kiwi Farms yelling about the Aryan King supremacy while we throw our OG idols into the fire after weeks of highs and lows together and deride Sam for not making that fucking 3-pointer, like come on dude, you were right there! Watching less frequent posters popping in and saying "oh, shit got that bad, huh?" and laughing because fuck yeah it did. It's parasocial as fuck, much like the show itself, but when I sit down and open the Fishtank thread, I'm settling in for some time with the kiwis. Time to shoot the shit, argue over which girl is hotter (it's Luke), share overly throughout insights, formulate inside jokes, bury older jokes into the ground, laugh and cry and cheer and rage together, then mog Alex and his fat wife some more people someone got a notification on Instagram.

Maybe because Kiwi Farms started as a place of catharsis for me. I came here and read about people who shared opinions I had and that I didn't have. I've learned things (good, bad, and terribly ugly) and I've told more than a few people to fuck off (behind my screen because I'm a passive pussy like Payton). But discussing how shitty things can be, seriously or tongue-in-cheek, and facing the more fucked up aspects of the world can be easier with company. And you know what they say about misery.

And, also, I don't expect jail time to serious consequences to befall any of the people on this show. It's Fishtank, not Catch a Predator. But that doesn't stop me and maybe others from getting super emotionally invested in the moment, expelling all that rage and frustration at the world, and then logging off and feeling lighter for it.

I'm not saving a single child from exploitation at the hands of drag queens with all my write-ups and at the end of the day Fishtank is just some streaming show I watch on the internet. But I don't let the knowledge of my powerlessness or the shittiness in the world stop me from enjoying shit. Autistically, authentically, and quite affectionately.

I've gone off the deep end (girl moment, am I right fellow Chads?) but the main point is I like the screeching in the Fishtank thread, it's made the season fun to watch, and even debatably low points in show's run are salvageable because of the social aspects ongoing outside of it.
