Bigot Brigade Something Awful and Friends - The roller-coaster train-wreck embarrassing downfall of a Web 1.0 giant and its tick offspring like from Cloverfield

Seems our friend Sex Cop wrote an official Shmorky song. It's fucking amazing:

Sex Cop is my new favorite goon.

It's pretty funny to see kiwis and goons take each other's jokes as serious.
We need to invite Sex Cop here. Is that song a parody of something?
He's said that he posts here so it's safe to assume he's been around.
Oh yeah he's definitely not representative of the average goon, they're bashing him as we speak. But it was way too good not to post.

Still makes you wonder how they attract such people in the first place, however, and for twenty fucking dollars no less.

Holy shit he's doubling down :story:

lmfao. He's PROBABLY gonna get banned because he's going after Lowtax, but I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't. Nevertheless this is gold.
please stop double posting, I know you are really excited to "totally own" something awful but it's still annoying, thanks.

I'm starting to think that paying good money to get privileges on SA is equivalent to weens paying money into CWC's patreon for no reason. And it just seems incredibly sad that you pay and pay just to post on a forum but you aren't even allowed to express your own ideas unless they meet the moral standards of the day. Kiwi Farms is a good place to talk to people because you know nobody is being safe-spaced into silence here.

That was clearly just a pretense though. He'll probably get chain probated into oblivion for not using proper punctuation for questioning the moral superiority of the goon hivemind.
Sorry that I'm not too familiar with these things, but can someone explain what chain-probating is? I see it mentioned a lot but all I understand is that it sounds like a shitty practice.

I never really understand why any site which spends much of its time mocking internet trainwrecks feels in any way superior to other sites which do the same. It always just seems like a pathetic attempt at "it's OK when we do it".
"It's okay when we do it" is the motto of SocJus everywhere.

We're a throwback to an earlier time in internet history that a lot of these fucking hypocrites would rather forget that they gleefully were a part of.

And therefore they do not like us.
It never ceases to amaze me how suddenly intolerant so many people become whenever they switch camps, and with such complete lack of awareness. Sure, I was laughing right there with you and calling that crazy person a retard yesterday, like we've all been doing for years, but this morning I woke up and had a revelation about how wrong it is and I can't believe you don't immediately agree with me. Nevermind that we didn't think it was wrong for the longest time, I'm saying it is now, how dare you not accept my arbitrary change to the rules of objective morality right this very minute.

If Something Awful wanted to distance itself from its past, it could start by finding a way to sacrifice the size, prestige, and money it's accrued over the course of the past 17 years by doing the very thing they condemn in everyone else. There's a reason the term "blood money" exists.

The most a mod can give a user without admin approval is a 6 hour probation, so sometimes they just chain these together to satisfy their petty grudges and emulate a ban (though on some level it is more severe since a user can just pay 10 bucks after getting banned to get their posting privileges back).

That's like a court saying "we can't sentence you to more than 10 days in jail for this petty crime, but I don't like you so here's a hundred 10-day sentences in a row."

Exactly. Normally done by FYAD mods, who campaign to get posters who talk about FYAD being unfunny, childish, irrelevant or just airing FYADs bullshit to have the thread that they're doing it in moved to FYAD, so they can just chain them for weeks on end. The admins, all craving the approval of FYAD, will comply, move said threads and then act like the people they're pulling that shit on aren't paying customers
