You thought they'd let him win? He wasn't there for almost all of the really rough shit and had been watching it while he was out. He was too in on it.
Tbh I thought they were doing a soft reset type situation as a setup for the final four.

In the words of Jason Goldstriker, "IT'S NOT FAIRTANK!".

I know Bitchtank isn't popular but I was hoping they'd use it as a Freeloader boot camp. Given most of the successful freeloaders are men, the bitches could probably have caused some chaos since they were already exposed to a Fishtank-like environment

Wishful thinking.

I liked Bitchtank. Like I know it was Jerry Spring style slop drama, but it did have its moments. Also it used limited resources of two rooms and a small amount of staff but it would of made them some decent money for little effort.

They fucked up the whole famous house 2.0 thing then randomly dropped luke as a fish, the only decent person in there.
I’m aware. Take the funny internet show less seriously and you’ll be less outraged.

We’re all here for trash entertainment, there’s no reason for all this hostility. Just have FUN.

Someone way earlier in this thread tried to tell me they do have an app, but they do not.
There absolutely is an app, I have it in my phone. Unfortunately it's very shitty because there was no audio for most of the season. It's been updated several times throughout the season, but none of it fixed the no audio problem until a couple days ago Screenshot_20241127_221948_One UI Home.jpg.

Thanks for uploading the Tower of Babel, nigger. That photo takes up 2 entire pages when I go to printscreen.

The "shut up and consume product" mentality does also apply to indie online shows.

Since when is the fairness of the game a concern for the Wiggers?
Luke is the most endorsed so you can't even claim there would be huge viewer outrage if he were to compete.

If they get Jan and make this some fun adventure nonsense I will probably like it.
A repeat of some forced character development garbage like S2 is what would absolutely devalue S3.

I don't think they care too much about the endorsements and the fact that you can endorse freeloaders speaks to that.
They care most about making it funny but I don't think they are so unfair they will rig it to let a plant win. That wouldn't make any sense. He was an obvious plant as soon as he came back and I knew he wasn't going to be eligible to win despite them listing him as a fish. Ditto for fatty.

The wiggers absolutely could have and should have made Luke an official fish in the running to win. The rules are always bent on the wigger's whim in any situation like letting Jon, Vance, TJ, Burt, and Binx leave the house with no consequence. Hell, in s1 ALL the fish got to be on their phones for a night and watch tv, and Binx also got to be on her phone and go on discord for a bit.

The rules don't matter if the wiggers say so, in this case they should have bent the rules again and kept Luke as a fish in the final 4.

They're probably going to have to really experiment with monetization options and perhaps make it PPV or something similar. $60 is a lot to ask in the current world economic climate and at that price point they may inadvertently turn away more people than they get (like if they reduced it down to $15 they might get way more people paying for it - but again, that's a bold gamble to make). One thing is very clear though, fishtank is an expensive show to run and is highly risky given the type of contestants and the type of show it is.
If they just sold a simpler camera access / clipping /chatting pass ( removing tokens basically ) for a season at a time at 15-20 that would be a no-brainer for me. At 60 I personally weigh the purchase very seriously and end up not buying as I can spend on better things, also the site lags anyway and camera switching is often slow, so what am I even buying.

Steam games run deep sales and for a lot of them they end up earning a lot more than they would at their normal price points due to shear volume. I get wanting to onboard people with tokens, get people invested, you send a TTS, watch the ripples through the show as people react to your influence, you want more of that so you buy more. Not everyone is like that.

I think if they need more money, low investment options are a good move.

I've said it quite a few pages back and since seen a lot of people getting pissy about things: if the wiggers fuck too much with the rules then people will not tune in on the next season.

Does that mean that they won't fuck up? no, of course not
Does that mean people will not bother as much next season if the outcome is egregiously retarded? quite possibly. This especially includes the more mainstream kind of audience who have put a significant time investment in following the show and possibly also spending money on things. If people spent money to support some particular contestant and then the results get fucked with, why would you ever spend money on it again?

This. I thought the $30 season pass in s1 was a lot of money at the time but that's way better than $60, looking back $30 was actually a very fair price. Their merch has always been insanely expensive, I wanted to buy the simple Fishtank logo tee shirt, but at $60? No fucking way, make that shit $25 at the most. I'd love to try some Zipp, I've been curious since s2 and the cherry mint flavor actually sounds good to me, but at $50 for a 12 pack? There's no way I can justify spending $50 on flavored carbonated water.

I refuse to believe they can't make profit on selling their shit for cheaper prices, I believe the opposite. Like you said, if the prices were lower, more people would buy leading to possibly more profit due to volume of sales compared to selling at higher prices.

Doesn't that go both ways? Money spent can be for negative or positive reasons. Why spend money degrading a fish if they're just going to filter it or keep TTS off altogether? That messes with the results. Yet it never slows down.

I think most people would keep spending because they just like the interaction and aren't thinking about "will this help my fish win later?"

Where as the women on season three are literally being given the chance to win 50K as well as winning daily prizes and getting $200 a day for being there. But most of the time they can't be bothered getting off the couch.
I believe this is not correct. Peyote said to Kawal earlier today "at least you guys get a daily rate, we do not". I take this to mean only a few of the fish (like cymbalta) actually got a daily payment.
There were a few instances of production jumping in at conversations early on in the show and telling people to not discuss payments, contracts and that kind of shit specifically because of this.

And tbh its kinda shitty of production to not give everyone some bare minimum of payment considering the amount of money they get from the show - this is probably the exact reason that Shinji was particularly upset in S2 and said he doesn't do "charity work".
