Bacon on mosque offender dies in prison

A man who placed bacon on the doors of a Bristol mosque has died in prison while serving a 12-month sentence.

Kevin Crehan was sentenced at Bristol Crown Court in July for racially-aggravated public disorder.

Rashers of bacon were placed on the door handles of the Jamia mosque in Totterdown in January.

A prison service spokesperson confirmed the 35-year-old's death on Tuesday at HMP Bristol and said an independent investigation was under way.

No other details were given.

Three other people also admitted taking part in the incident in January where a member of staff was also racially abused.

Crehan, 34, of Knowle, was jailed for 12 months and Mark Bennett, 48, of Patchway, for nine months.

Alison Bennett, 46, the wife of Mark Bennett, was given a six-month sentence, suspended for two years.

Angelina Swales, 31, from Brislington, was handed a four-month sentence, suspended for two years.

The prison service has declined to give any further details of the circumstances of his death.

So what did he die of? Attacked in prison? Rectal perforation? Heart attack?

Still unknown, apparently, though presumably that rules out suicide or another inmate killing him. Probably a heart attack or some other pre-existing condition that the crappy prison doctors didn't spot, though personally I'm expecting that the official line will be that Putin bribed one of the guards to pull an Alexander Litvinenko on him.

Russian Hackers turned his pacemaker into a bomb.

I knew a dude who would rub a napkin covered in bacon fat on JDAMs while they were being loaded on to the planes, I've been told by a buddy who flew Apaches that it was common practice on Hellfires, too

You know, Tommy Robinson was the founder of the English Defence League, who were pretty much a bunch of nutters. And this fellow he retweeted made Tommy Robinson sound less crazy...

I watched an interview with Tommy Robinson recently and he seemed like a perfectly sane and reasonable guy to me.

He did leave the EDL in fairness, mostly because they were becoming pretty wacky even by their standards. He's also one of these types who is willing to leave his safe space and learn from Muslims and people he disagrees with, which makes him significantly better than the Tards of National Action and the like.

He's a bit wacky for my liking, but I do still respect the guy.

He gave his life to please our lord and savior, Bacon.
