There might be other things, like him having a lighter schedule and Trump footing the bill on some travel expenses
It is a lot of things:
  • The craziness of the election likely made Joe is more interested in how the sausage is made and is more open to intervening politicians
  • Rogan is friends with Elon and now Elon is hanging around Trump a lot (All three went to the MMA fight in MSG)
  • The Trump interview is currently the 2nd most watch video on his channel (Now that Trump is busy, Joe needs to go to his golden goose instead)

I still think way too much credence is given to Rogan as some form of kingmaker, but there is at least a sense of old fashioned respect he has been receiving, and therefore giving, to the Trump Hat Pirates in recent months.

I await the episode after MAL to be Rogan talking to Eddie Bravo going "oh my God, dude, the amount of quality in the food there, gaaaaaah heheheheheh, and you will not believe how much respect and care the workers there give you, and bro, they looooooove Trump, I mean, looooooooove Trump."
i just find it funny that people even consider it unusual that a person in a position of power would essentially do the equivalent of buying a gift basket after someone else in a position of power helped them out immensely. The democratic establishment doesn't do shit like that.

I'm not saying this to dunk, i don't think the expectation is that anybody who sticks their neck out for a democratic political campaign deserves things in return for it. i don't mean like 'we can't pay you anything because we ran out of money' i mean they would never think of giving extra attention to any peon regardless of what they did, they expect thankless and blind faith from their constituents and employees. i know the same attitude extended to people working for the biden administration, the obama administration, the clinton administration, and i even think it probably goes back to carter and beyond. the republicans kinda do it too, but they aren't counter-signaling their own ideology by doing that. its a very very thin veneer of egalitarian liberalism and its been used to justify sociopathic bullshit for quite a long time and i really gotta wonder when people are gonna start figuring it out

Also, it doesn’t sound like Trump is trying to control the length or have editing veto power, which was the actual problem with Kamala’s people.

It can still be Joe’s show if they are off chatting in front of a camera in a room at MAL.

I think they might have become genuine friends. Before the interview I hadn't realized how much Trump enjoyed pro fights, and not just wrestling. He was able to speak very authoratively about the subject.

If UFC came around earlier like in the 80's i expect trump would have been involved heavily. It's as close to the gorilla channel as we'll ever get

Barry coming in with the latest NPC Programming: Pluralism - sticking together just long enough to beat the bad guy save democracy.

Listen to this as a democrat, and not an American. He is not talking about uniting the country, just his party. @Hey Johnny Bravo brought it up earlier, but Obummer is trying to mop up this mess.

Im sure he's used to cleaning up messes, Big Mike probably leaves a big ol pile of jizz on the floor after a goon sesh in the Obama household.

Also, IIRC from his talking about it, he did mention that the show was here in the studio, but also talked about that it should be done like the Trump one. I think he wanted both interviews to be the same. Trump comes in and talks for 3 hours in Studio, then Joe goes and talks for 1 hour at Kamala's campaign makes it seem like it's uneven, either giving preferential treatment to one candidate, or that the other one wasn't given a fair treatment. Both candidates should have the same platform on his show.

Trump is literally the reason why the UFC exists today. He invested in them, let them use his properties, and helped them get TV deals. Dana White can’t shut up about how much he loves Trump for being one of the only people to believe in him in the early days.

Trump has been a fan of fighting sports since before the UFC even existed.

It would be fun if they were just filmed shooting the breeze while playing golf or something instead of just being in a recording room

Except that is no the actual reason given to the Joe Rogan thing collapsing, it was the demands for approved questions and shorter format.

I think the kingmaker status is something the left/dems have made up in their heads as a cope for losing. They need rogan to be this shadowy far right puppet master who has sway over millions to influence them to obey trump, cause they can't accept the alternative that hes just a normal weed smoking MMA loving dude that has interesting conversations with all sorts of people. Dems don't want to face that Rogan is the demographic of normal, two-time obama voter males that they LOST when they lost their marbles between TDS and woke insanity.

Assuming this corresponds to social acceptance, how come Connecticut is less gay than Indiana?

Maybe because homos disproportionately live in big cities and CT's population is proportionally less urban than IN? The top most populous 3 cities in IN account for just over 1/5th of IN's population and the top 3 in CT account for approaching 1/9th of CT's population.

Theo Von [SNIP] fake intellectual podcasters that people listen to.

Theo von a fake intellectual? I don't exactly religiously listen to him but to me he presents himself as a comedian and a retard, not an intellectual. I don't think I've ever heard him pretend to be smart.

I love how the majority of the comments is filled with arm chair economic experts pretending to care like biden didn't increase any of Trump's tarriffs
Assuming the 70% number is accurate: Is the assumption that the cartels would not just buy from another country? Also it sounds like this person wants Obama to be held accountable for his admin's actions.

I always enjoy people who can barely speak English ignoring the reality of Covid.
Trump did what he should have done and left it to the states to decide how to handle things internally while giving them federal support.
It was Anthony The Bathhouse Scientist Fauci who made up social distancing rules, hid evidence of the source of the outbreak, and advocated for lockdowns.
Trump was listening to experts and petty leftist tyrants kept their controls even after it became apparent it was all nonsense.
Leftist governors and Butch Levine killed tens of thousands of elderly people by forcing nursing homes to take covid patients.
Dem governors kept things shut down long after it was necessary which crippled the economy an economy that was doing incredibly well prior to Covid.
Trump tried to shut down travel from China(albeit too late) and was called a racist by Dems who told people to go hug people in Chinatown.
This needs to be on repeat because it's amazing how many people keep forgetting the facts and fall for the coverup. (not ITT, just in general)

The last numbered UFC card (309) had Trump walking out to ringside with members of his cabinet to Kid Rocks "American Badass" and he got a standing ovation from the crowd. Numerous winning fighters shouted him out in their post fight interviews. He is a frequent fixture at their events.

Trump genuinely loves the sport which the company and fans give him a lot of respect for. He was a huge backer from pretty much day one and he goes way back with Dana White and the Ferrtittas.

It's another factor that goes toward humanising him to the public.

Name one of either Biden, Kamalas or Hillarys personal interests.
