Tbh. the writing was on the wall with Fauna starting to post videos as Lemonleaf again.
At least the graduation video confirms that a) Fuck management b) She will 100% come back as Lemonleaf.
I also feel it's pretty telling it's a straight up graduation instead of "affiliate" which is supposed to be the new norm.

She specifically stated that she didn’t mind being an idol, so that’s not the disagreement she had with management.

It still might be. The sheer amount of work Holo makes people do is insane.

To be honest I believe that the main reason for the recent graduations is that this year had shown that you don't need a corpo to live and prosper (Mint, Doki). While there may be some problem with the management, I think that two years ago such disagreement would not lead to talent leaving.

The truth is that the corpo has very little to offer outside initial fanbase boost to Vtubers who just want to stream. It is attractive to people like Mori who benefits from all the record deals and concerts Holo helps her with or to idol culture autists like Kiara. But what does a girl who just wants to stream get from corpo outside the exposure? Help with paperwork? Unless you're Ethan Ralph you can handle your own taxes, and as Ina's recent visa trouble shows Holo is not that good at it. Help with a set up? It's not really that hard. Getting decent model and hardware may cost a bit but I don't think that anyone leaving Hololive would have trouble affording one. Tardwrangling? Maybe? But the tard who needs wrangling the most is also the one who would see the need for wrangler the least. And, so far, only Mikeneko had proven to be incapable of functioning without one.

Sure, the new account will probably have less following than the Hololive one but the biggest paypigs are the ones most likely to follow vtuber after graduation. Money loss is not that big, especially considering that you don't have to share it with anyone anymore. In addition, you don't need to fight for permits, try to get your ideas accepted by management and have more freedom with your schedule. I can see the vtubers joining Hololive for 2-3 years to build up a fanbase and then leave becoming a norm in the future.

The thing is Ame and Doki are very popular and have likable personalities. When you're a cunt like Kiara or Kronii, you might not be as successful as Doki and Dooby. This is also assuming Hololive doesn't pull a Nijisanji next year. Doesn't Blackrock own a portion of Cover?

In a way I can understand Ame trying to be political and wishy washy with her graduation, since she didn't want to burn bridges with the company that made her life better.
