Artcow Ellen Woodbury / Pizzacake / Pizzacakecomic - A 40 year old webcomic artist, mother, porn star, misandrist, dramacow and Reddit celebrity. Threatens to sue her critics and cuckolds her husband. Female Andrew Dobson.

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
I went back and added some screencaps, links, and archives from her "durr males don't experience sexual harassment ever" drama and the backlash.

She's pretty good at getting Reddit threads nuked, so a lot of comments have been deleted before I had the chance to archive them. But she posts to her profile page on Reddit all the time when she can't take criticism in r/comics about DA BULLIES.

I'd maybe add a disclaimer in the OP warning people that she's prone to getting Reddit thread nukes and to ensure they archive everything before posting.

The thing that atonishes me the most about her comics is how little she's improved her art.

Most webcomics at least get progressively better looking when they're serious about their art.
That's not too surprising if you ask me. Dobson has been at it way longer than Ellen here due to a refusal to accept any and all constructive criticism.

Not to power level too hard, but as someone who has taken anatomy classes I notice that her characters tend to have spaghetti proportions. It is simple, but leaves a lot to be desired.

Now, these wouldn't be too bad if their builds still made sense. Her character expressions are fine, but the lack of lineart doesn't compliment the chic style she seems to be trying to emulate.

Its not a style that translates well for NSFW, in my humble opinion. While I will give credit for drawing boobs proportionate to the body type she's going for, the lack of shading and details to curves makes NSFW look amateurish.

It's not even that. Just look at the art in Lackadaisy, my favorite webcomic of all time, (not because of the furry shit) and compare that of the main character Rocky who's described as noodle like for comparison. Unrealistic/exaggerated proportions are perfectly fine if the style is cohesive overall.

I'm an amateur 'artist' myself, and I'd remarked on her work a little earlier as well. Well, assuming it's hers. I'm still of the mind that the main comic and the nsfw stuff are drawn by two different people (somebody had floated the idea that the husband was drawing the main comic).

Could just be me but I swear her artwork looks like generic WikiHow art.
Somebody earlier had said the same and I'm inclined to agree. It looks like wikihow pornography.

We also now know by the artist's admission that she prefers not to shave, so for those of you who aren't down with that have fun knowing it.

I find I notice the most similarities to WikiHow art when she draws inanimate objects. In that problems with being a public figure comic, some of the panels look like they were ripped straight out of a WikiHow article.
The colors lend a lot to it. Soft palettes and gradient backgrounds. Why does she mention Dilbert as her example for a comic with 'traditional' values? Did I miss a joke, because I thought its author was an insufferable left winger. I feel like I remember there being a thread about him being a twitter tough guy.

e. Alright, I was wrong about his political leanings. I forgot how much of a trip his thread was.

To be completely honest, I disagree. Could be because I'm gen z but Dobson's stuff never looked appealing to me, you could tell he could draw good figures when he applied himself but the style itself always just appeared off. Adding on to that, I've never seen a comic by Dobson that managed to get a smile out of me. Pizzacake may be on OF but I've seen other places compile her shitty comics and I'm unafraid to say that a couple of them managed to get a quick chuckle out of me, and along with that, I think the way that she draws figures is alright. Would ideally be developed further instead of used as a "style" but overall still more talented as a comic artist than Dobson IMHO
Yeah, maybe it's also because I'm Gen Z but Dobson's art looked always dated to me.

Never did understood why cuckoldry is a prominent fetish in recent years.
I always thought it was the men who let women sleep around are just too weak-willed and preoccupied with Disney Star Wars and Twitter shit that they view it as a better option lol.

Also porn addiction. It's not enough to fuck women, they want to see the women be fucked because they're used to being a viewer and not a participant.

Also also, this lady's art style reminds me of that Anonymous Asexual's art.
