2024 Syrian opposition offensives - The first Syrian rebel offensive against Government forces since March 2020

God damnit I wanted to read those realtime happenings. So far a lot of cope from Syrians they'll get Iranian and Russian help.
Yup adding Nick and Destiny to the book of grudges.

There’s certainly a lot of fog of war going on here. Some planes were captured but they look quite old and I’d be surprised if they are able to maintain them let alone fly them. So they're propaganda pieces at best. But the Syrian regime is on the ropes. We’ll see if they can turn it around but with drones added to the equation they’re going to be in a rough spot (my thought process is that drones will make it easier for the rebels to fight asymmetrically and more efficiently).. Especially with Russia and Iran having lost a considerable amount of resources recently.

I talked to a friend in church today, he has a dad that is a doctor currently serving in Aleppo. According to him no civilian is allowed to leave the city. There are sharpshooters waiting outside the city if one of them choose to leave. However, the people of Aleppo still have an internet connection and can talk to the outside world. For how long? I don't know. The situation might get really bad.
The HTS treat Christians in Aleppo well so far. Christmas trees in the open, church services continue. Life looks normal
They've knock down trees and member of HTS have walked into church services shouting their own propaganda. Things seem like tensions might start increasing. It's not the hunky dory image you are trying deceitfully to project here.

Please Israel it would be my wet dream for you to fight the Russians. You're going to have the Arab world cheer for Russia. I assure you that Russian missiles are better than Iranian missiles.

Whoever planned the offensive be it the kikes or the roaches are retarded. They could have let the Jihadis start the offensive earlier when Russia was more occupied with Ukraine, but instead they just start the offensive when Ukraine barely has any equipment with the US having a hard time passing any spending bills for Ukraine while the Russians are still pumping out equipment, bombs and missiles
As much as I wish it, Israel would have restarted the civil war before going balls deep into Lebanon rather than wait after the war was essentially over, and the most that can be gained is that Syria is weakened for several years before a new idiot takes charge.

Russians were busy bombing residential buildings and apparently hit a Christian institution while they were at it. Truly protecting them.

Syrians in Germany were celebrating the liberation.

Yeah uhhhh not so hot on Assad after what the Russians did...

Russian Air Force doing what it does best:
Indiscriminate bombing of city centres.
20+ civilians reported killed.

Here's what the retard above was referring to. Will teach these morons not to mix in with masturbeks. Should've evacuated when given the chance. Either that or they were actual sandnigger sympathizers - to which I say good, kill two birds with one stone.

It's funny how people reduce the Syria situation to one or two singular global forces when it's at the epicenter of several different tugs of war. Between bordering Turkey and Israel, and being influenced heavily by nearby Iran and Russia, and now also pinned by nominally US-backed Iraq, and filled with ethnic and religious minorities like Kurds and Druze, it's not just one group fighting out there.

It's not about a coordination of forces together, it's just about disruption of collective/shared enemies. Syria is not a stable state and likely never will be, like most Middle Eastern shitholes. It's a matter of whether Russia will continue to commit forces to support Assad, or if Iran nuts up and commits forces. Syrian Army is not capable of defeating the militants themselves, which has essentially rendered it (if it wasn't already) a puppet state.

It was the perfect timing. Wagner is gone, Russians are stretched extremely thin, and Hezbollah has suffered massive attrition, just recently.

If the rebels had attacked 6 months ago, hezbollah would have been a powerful factor in support of Assad. If they had waited six months, then maybe the conflict in Ukraine would have been frozen, freeing up Russian manpower to save Assad.

They've knock down trees
A few soldiers knocked down one tree and later restored it.

People who live there say everything is calm and there's videos showing normal looking streets with Christians goings about their day next to Christmas decorations.

Don't confuse individual actions with official policy.

Yep

As for the wider offensive, the push South to Hama is overx the rebels pulled back to ~2016 lines and seem to be digging in.

They've captured ~11 L-39ZA light attack trainer jets..... A SA-13 and a Pantsir-S1 AA system plus tanks, artillery, guns and a shitload of ammo.

Was it in their calculations that they were constantly going to get bombed, SAA join with the SDF, have a huge amount of Iraqis come over to assist the SAA, Iran and Russia to transfer more equipment or do the jews and turks have no impulse control when making decisions?
At least this is what's going on in Ukraine. Zelensky wants to cede territory and white house asks their military to pass the draft age to 18, I am sure it would have been easier to strike when US at the time was passing 60+ billion dollar spending bills.

What I am hearing from Trump is he wants to speed this up. At least the war now looks less intense than it was before. I am assuming manpower from Russia is not needed so they sent Assad back because things will wrap up later unless of course Israel and Turkey want to join forces with who they sponsored because there wont be another chance for them.
Russia passed a bill to acquire 1.5 million troops for active duty and Russians trade 500 dead Ukrainians for 50 Russians each time a body trade happens. I am assured that if Syria was in trouble with no other Muslim country wanting to help them that the Russians have more than enough manpower and the Russians themselves would be more than glad to have orders to go to Syria than stay in Ukraine to increase their own chances of survival. Its better to fight some Jihadis with no air defense or air force with only Jews and Turks helping them than to fight another country that had a 40 million population and assisted by 40+ countries with more equipment and firepower than some jihadis.

The FSA and Ukraine before made good gains from their offensives like these Jahidis but they kept getting eaten by superior firepower losing those gains later. Yesterday and today it seems Aleppo and Hama are still contested which makes it seem the fast gains have stopped and bombs are still dropping on their heads.

If I was a Jihadi I would not trust the Turks with military decisions and planning because they did send their force with Leopard tanks before to Syria and they all got blown up by Syrian RPGs. I would not trust Jews either who are more than happy to have the Muslim population around them lowered. None of the Jihadis look like their IQs hit the 3 digit range to make strategic decisions themselves let alone from 2 untrusted backers.

Right. So what happened since the hiatus?

  • The headquarters of HTS commander-in-chief Abu Mohammed Al-Julani was reportedly struck while meeting with Turkish and Ukrainian intelligence officers. Several Arabic news media reports have confirmed the killing of Abu Mohammad al-Julani, a Syrian terrorist leader and the current commander-in-chief of the Al-Nusra Front in an attack on the terror group’s main headquarters. Several Arabic news media reports have confirmed the killing of Abu Mohammad al-Julani.
  • It has become known that Hayat Tahrir al-Sham militants have arrested two senior Jaish al-Islam officials in Aleppo.
  • As the Syrian Arab Army prepares its counteroffensive following the attack by HTS on Aleppo, the recent hours have witnessed heavy bombing.
  • Why are certain posters posting their Russia hate boners in a thread about Syria? Islamist groups that attacked Syria’s northern Aleppo province this week received training from a Special Forces unit of the Ukrainian military intelligence service (HUR), the Kyiv Post claimed. A Syrian publication reveals Kiev's intelligence chief Budanov was in continuous communication with leader of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham al-Julani to recruit anti-Assad extremist militants. Kiev's recruitment focusing on Chechen, Uyghur, Turkistan and Caucasus terrorists in countryside of Western Idlib and northern Latakia with preparation and transfer to Ukraine ongoing for at least two months
  • Russia announced it has carried out airstrikes in Syria, targeting a terrorist offensive and eliminating over 200 militants in the last 24 hours. Looks like Russia can carry out hybrid war in WW3 after all.

  • The Syrian Ministry of Defense stated that its armed forces in northern Hama strengthened their defensive lines, preventing any breaches with firepower. Dozens were killed and others fled northwest of Hama. SAA reinforcements then arrived, while a mass retreat was witnessed by HTS.

Lots of videos attesting to the destruction of HTS and affiliates but since I'm not a gore-posting troon you all can look them up on TG/X if gooning to the dying and corpses is your thing.
