Victor Markhoff / Ana Victoria Markhoff / vvictorman_uel - Powerchair faker pooner, has every illness, allergic to Krebs cycle, bed mayo enjoyer, kicked out of house and mental hospital, constant ebeggar, applesauce heiress paid to yeet her teets

What the hell does she even eat?
At this point it would be easier to list what she isn't allergic to.
Whatever it is, it can be doordashed. And doordashed without the faintest concern of cross-contamination from either the restaurant or the cabbie or any point in between. Seems legit.

I think it goes to a fundamental psychological difference between men and women.

(As well as a particular psychological flaw with the men involved.)

Men fake disease as well, but in the vast majority of cases it’s malingering. For some kind of concrete payoff. Drugs, a sick note, early pension or gibs.

Women otoh are almost exclusively the ones engaged in Munchie shit. Faking disease for attention. (Not saying there isn’t a rare guy who does it, but for the most part Munchies are women.)

So men may not always understand the mindset of faking a disease for attention.
I think the Tranch (RIP) is a perfect example of the difference between men and women here - the men there all munchied to an extent (aside from pretending to be women) for gibs and online attention, but had a gentleman's agreement not to disturb the dynamics and bother the other residents with it. Add in a crazy robot bird baby who pretended to be blind and well... you had a conflict where one side of the guys were just annoyed at her destroying their stuff, while the other side simped the hell out.

I guess for men there has to be a particular goal to it, thus it's pointless to do it if no one cares or pays attention to them. Women will just do it for the sheer misery of being munchie.

yeah but wasnt Victor Markhoff the name of the craigslist killer?
You're thinking of Philip Markoff.

The social dynamics between two munchies, or even better: A malingerer and a munchie just have to be a joy to behold.

They both have an awareness of both themselves and the other person being full of shit. Yet social niceties (and I assume some kind of unspoken munchie code) prevents them from saying it out loud, and only letting their irritation come through in passive aggressive acts and out-illnessing the other.

“Could you get me the water? I’m having a REALLY bad flare up!”

“Sure lemme get up and… OH LORDIE IM HAVING A SEIZURE AGHAGAHAGAHAHAHH!”

No wonder Munchies seem to only interact online and not IRL.

I was under the impression that the r/illnessfakers subreddit is pretty much exactly that.

R/illnessfakers in a nutshell:

“Oh wowza, she really ruins it for us ACSHUAL POTS sufferers!”

“Woah there buddy, no misgendering! You can make fun of HIM to pretend she has an illness, but insinuating HE is pretending to be a different gender is hexing dehumanizing!”

Victoria is masturbating herself to the idea of her own death at a tragically young age.

Every second counts, because she might have a genetic condition that she thinks will kill her in her 40s. No mention of the condition, of course, as is required by the munchie code.

If she gets covid she "will likely die." This became very common during covid, for people with any immune issue or pre-existing condition to start talking about how they would "probably die" if they got covid. You could actually look up the mortality rates for a range of conditions and age ranges and find out that their actual chances of dying were often orders of magnitude below "probably," but of course, every one of them tries to guilt strangers with this hypothetical 50%+ chance of death from covid. I don't think terminal cancer patients Vickie's age have a 10% chance of dying from 'rona.

Hope you end up with locked-in syndrome for real, Vicky. When not being able to move around is a real 24/7 reality and not a LARP, with no way to tweet your wry observations, maybe you'll realize how much you threw away.

Every second counts.

Spends that time trying to get a maid, LARPing on twitter & threatening to publicly shit herself if asked to do anything to justify her existence.

Really making the most of life, kiddo.

Wealth and good looks that most could only dream of, and she squanders every bit of it in an attempt avoid experiencing absolutely anything that real life has to offer.

What a fucking waste.

I wanted to say Huntington’s but according to Google the life expectancy is 30s, not 40s. Still, I can’t think of any other condition you can genetically test for that is guaranteed to kill you at a certain age. It sounds so hyper specific to what Huntington’s is always “advertised” as

This one bothers me:

Because literally anyone who has even been around someone disabled, dying, or who has lived through medical heroic measures would very strongly disagree. She does not realize how bad it can get when someone wants to be saved at all costs. See: Jahi McMath, Archie Battersbee

Is she claiming to be an Ashkenazi Jew? (More like Ashke-Nazi, though, considering grammy’s escape to South America).

The Ashkenazi are afflicted by a fuckton of genetic diseases (small dating pool) of varying severity. Not an issue for Vicky, though, I still don’t think she’s even a quarter Jewish.

You know, I think it's vascular EDS again. I think she finally finagled some clinic into doing vEDS testing (God knows how), and is playing up the wait for all it's worth. vEDS isn't degenerative like Huntington's but it does tend to kill you young (or young-ish). She probably got "I will not live past my 40s" from statistics like this:

Once the negative results come back, she will simply never mention it again.

How much you wanna bet this 'Victor' is obese, and has all these flare ups because of the testosterone she's taking? She's in STEM, as well, and I guarantee it's not something related to biology. if it is, I bet she acts real fucking smug about the whole 'um achtually sex isn't binary' thing.
From the Trannies Posting Their Ls Online thread...sounds familiar to me. Is fearrfreak5051 on AO3 our gorl?

"Victor" is a very common pooner name for some reason (Victoria had the excuse of masculinizing her female birth name, but most pooners just choose it outright), and it's not exactly unusual for pooners to be unhealthy and have "flare ups," so it's probably just a coincidence.

Come to think of it, I have never in my life heard a male human refer to a "flare up," even men who have legit chronic illnesses that do technically flare up. Men tend to either describe it differently, or (more likely) don't say anything at all. I know two unrelated men who both have Crohn's disease (one so bad that he ended up hospitalized and almost dying a few years back from complications related to medications) and in both cases I only know about their conditions because of their wives talking about it.

To be fair to women with legit chronic illnesses, a lot of serious autoimmune conditions that relapse/remit have lopsided sex ratios and mostly affect women. Chron's and colitis are exceptions to the sex ratio thing, but the symptoms of those are sufficiently personal that the only people who are super public about it tend to be borderline women with 0 shame.

On the other hand if I had a nickel for every time a young female acquaintance was nonspecific about a "chronic illness flare up" and it turned out to be POTS or Long Covid or other psychosomatic classics, I'd have enough money to buy a beer.

Oh I agree. I just happen to know a few men who have chronic illnesses (including a real unicorn, a normal boomer-aged male who was diagnosed with fibromyalgia) and I notice they tend to talk about it differently. Like the ones who do talk about it will just describe their symptoms ("my muscles are hurting really bad today") rather than saying "I'm having a flare up."

It's probably due to women joining online chronic illness communities (whether their illnesses are real or not) and then picking up certain language from each other. Whereas men just tend to accept it and not talk about it (or in some cases ignore it altogether until they drop dead).

I'm just always amused to observe data points that show that pooners are not just women, but the most stereotypical women imaginable.
