"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

I'm sure this has been posted 100 times in this thread already, surprised there is no community feature about it

>Null gets so angry he never finishes Life Is Strange

He never played the Mexican brothers one, but not finishing Max 2.0 is worse. Especially given how retarded the setting is. It’s an art school in Vermont where the lesbian bartender acts like she’s an actual small town dyke. It’s an art college in Vermont, that’s gayer than West Hollywood.

In part 1 of double exposure josh makes a reference to the other dontnod game "Tell me why" has he actually played it on stream? I looked it up and couldn't find it.
There are traces of it on the archives:

You’re crazy. He never did.

Supposedly he has, but I’ve never found footage of it.
BISH:

Both playthroughs have traces on various archives, not sure if any of them got the full footage. Best way to make yourself a complete list of references would probably be to pick up keywords and use the MATI transcription tool:

Thanks for all your efforts null, that the forum could handle the Trump shitposting but could simply not handle Destiny possibly sucking Fuentes really shows that you can never really plan for everything. Hope your moving process is going well and you can chill during your time out. About past streams, my peak kino moment was the Wicked tranny, your british accent just makes it extra special.

Also, got my Halloween merch, got nipped by customs, but nothing too bad and it arrived perfectly. Feels very nice to the touch and the drawing seems like it can last a few washes, so definitely satisfied with what I got.

Ok, going to get my "How to Internet in the USA" post in while I'm thinking about it. Since I too make all my money from the Internet and have had to explore options for where I've lived.

Internet Options:

Satellite:

Yep, pretty much Starlink for latency and bandwidth.

Wired:

Local phone companies are offering higher speed DSL with better tech and pair bonding than they used to, including upload. Distances can still be limited but sometimes they put equipment in-line that will extend those distances, worth checking out.

Cable TV. Sometimes semi-rural areas did get built out with cable tv. Could be the usual suspects(Charter, Comcast) or a small local company. If the utility wires are on poles, check if there's electric, phone and then a third set of wires, could be cable, could be...

Fiber. Similarly sometimes crops up in rural areas where a local company got some Fed money.

Wireless:

The cell companies are starting to offer "Home Internet" unlimited, higher bandwidth, in areas where they have spare 5G capacity. Worth a check.

Fixed Wireless. The less well-known option. This is where usually a small company sticks an antenna on a hill, water tower or antenna mast and provides wireless internet. Usually you'll get a directional antenna and point it at their tower. Can tolerate some trees depending on the equipment used. Speeds can be plenty fine for stream publishing. Usually found by searching "Fixed Wireless county name" or "Fixed Wireless small town name" May not appear accurately on maps due to RF often being usable at longer distances than expected.

The FCC broadband map can be a start but you'll often have to search for more local options too. Don't discount the signs on the side of the road that say "Need Internet? Call Bob." as that's often a local wireless or other carrier. Or a reseller for something else.

It is infuriatingly impossible to figure out what the fuck the Internet situation is like on the ground unless you actually are there, or you call and ask around.

The best "quick check" I've found is call a local realtor and ask what the houses have; usually they'll be able to say "we have fiber in-town, cable outside" or similar, which is a starting point.

Don't sleep on business providers; they cost more but they often have fiber to weird places and if you're near enough, dropping a connection can be in the low thousands, and you get fiber where otherwise there's nothing but satellite and dial-up.
