Who fuck is 'they', bitch? You mean me? No I didn't read the rest of this thread because I only wanted to share my thoughts on ONE particular episode that I liked, dickhead.

I realize that Lolcow threads are usually and almost entirely negative towards the subject, but that doesn't fucking mean I can't have an honest positive reaction to their content, it just means that everyone would prefer to talk about whatever the latest drama is.

It makes posters like me, who genuinely try to be positive about the show, want to distance themselves from it as quickly as possible. Whether the sweeping was directed or was just a product of people wanting to defend a show is irrelevant at this point; no one wants to be part of something where you can't even levee a good faith criticism against it. There are plenty of things that could be better about the show and handwaving it all away with memes has become the new Modus Operandi. Frankly it's worn out it's welcome quickly, the joke is stale. The MM stuff is a no-win situation for the Casino and they could've handled it much better.

tl;dr: It's possible to both be disappointed and still support a show without blindly sweeping.

The hide in the bunker style is the correct approach for 99% of things as they are either bullshit or really not serious. However the bunker form of defense is a critical error in the 1% of things which you absolutely do need to address and makes your situation worse. This isn’t some rando. This is someone they were close with, talked to every day on a discord they deleted & went on vegas trips he paid for and engaged in degenerate shit…and he is a pedophile. The only time they came out to address MM being a pedo they were caught in several demonstrable lies.

Absolutely. I also wouldn't mind an actual show in the meantime too. They're good background noise and PPP is a funny guy so I'm sure his jokes will still land when he's making fun of Fuentes being the big star of Destiny's cocksucking adventure. Hell, to be nice to Warski, I think he keeps PPP on track so there's that. Who knows? They might announce a show today, they usually do a couple of hours before they start. I am a little peckish now that you mention it.

It's also possible to be disgusted enough with something you don't want to watch it anymore. Which I think is the correct call to make here. At least for me it is.

I was prepared to ignore quite a bit, including the Vegas shit, because the KC can be entertaining at times, but this MM/Wetbeetus shit is just gross. Like, holy shit guys. How fucking difficult is it to tell pedos to pound sand? Are you really that dependent on them for your donos?
