African-American Appreciation Thread - Highlighting contributions from our most productive citizens

Liking Rap music correlates strongly with having a low IQ. It's music by dipshits for dipshits, regardless of color. And no, it wasn't good it in the 90s either.

However, the blacks are entitled to claim Ws for Jazz, Blues, Rock n Roll, Doo-wop and Motown. I'm not saying they invented them all in a vacuum but popular music is surely their best contribution to culture.

If black teens were encouraged to play piano instead of burning cars, we'd probably get some decent tunes out of them again.

i'm still curious on where exactly that correlation lies
if having low IQ directly causes you to be more likely to be drawn to rap
or if it's an indirect correlation since people who culturally likely to be in the proximity of such music are also likely to be inner city hoodlums

jazz, blues, rock, and even rap can be very complex and impressive if done well, and they can equally as much be pointless fast loud mouth noises
it can actually take quite a bit of skill and effort to write smart, witty poems in rhyme and then articulate them quickly to a beat
but most popular rap is not that, most popular rap is just some incomprehensible asshole throwing gang signs and yabba-dabba-doo-ing while rhyming "bitch nigga" with "mah pussy nigga"

It appeals to the unevolved jungle ape: beats like jungle drums, simple lyrics, big words they don't understand but make them sound smart, and gratuitous references to their base instincts.

That one woman saying shit like "Don't yell at her", "Dont record her" and "Don't y'all do that to a little girl, y'all don't know what she's going through". That woman is making excuses WHILE this girl is breaking things, like we can't see her smashing bottles and stomping on products.

I guess it's child abuse now to grab a misbehaving child to stop her from leaving broken glass everywhere. 'Leave her to smash all the bottles, she'll stop when she calms down!' Lunacy.

man this really does look like an adult public freakout, so weird seeing the same exact behavior on a kid, one to one, almost like they took the animation rigs and set them to a smaller model

i just realized ive never seen a kid behave like this in public
usually when kids have a melty at the store they are 1. with a parent or guardian, likely the cause of the melty because the kid is tired or annoyed or hungry or the guardian wont stop chatting or buy them some candy... its always directed at said guardian, never the public
and 2. theyre never this calm while just meticulously destroying something. they cry and pout and whine and they might kick something out of anger, but they never go about it in a way that looks this premeditated
this? this is an adult meltdown

This one is starting young, and I believe this won't be the last time we see a recording of her online being a psycho in public.

Notice the female privilege she has here. Trashing the store and everyone is afraid to stop her because she's a little "goirl", and when finally a man tries to stop her after bottles are smashed he is scolded by the nigger mother who says "dontcha do that to a little goirl".

its legitimately impossible for the public to discipline kids anymore, there was a time when you could catch a kid breakin shit and give them a smack upside the head and tell them off as a complete stranger
now you cant do much of anything but stand there and hope a parent is nearby

if you work at a store and someone comes in and starts wrecking shit you better hope its an adult man, at least them you can legally do something about it
