I don't think focusing on the practical side is so bad. There are many reasons to get married. I don't mind selfish people. But when they use that sentimental view of marriage to tell me what I should or shouldn't do, I think it's a little pathetic. I don't think everybody does want a family, if we are being honest with ourselves.
