Diseased Rowling Derangement Syndrome - "TERF/Woke Author Bad!!1"

c) She genuinely cares and considers the fight against the globotranny menace to be one of the most important issues of our time.
To be fair she is more focused on the issue of biological males getting access to women's spaces. The trans men side of the argument she talks about less, though once detransition really gets going there's going to be a lot of regretful women looking for someone to speak out.

She posts about other things. But nobody is screenshotting and seething over updates about the latest Strike book.
Yeah, trannies always pretend she is a jobless miserable shut-in, addicted to Twitter like they are, but (aside from the fact that she would not even need to work anymore) in-between triggering troons she is still writing her novels, going on vacation, producing TV shows etc. Glad she takes 30 minutes out of her busy day sometimes to shitpost like the rest of us.

Speaking of, I recently began reading her Cormorant Strike novels. I know some people here only like her for her tranny takes, but I’m a genuine fan, and I’ve really been enjoying them. She’s always had a workmanlike quality to her writing that served her well in children’s books and serves her well in crime fiction. Very straightforward, I think the worst criticisms I can think of is she does tend to excessive description at times. One thing she’s very good at is coming up with unique, colorful characters, and developing them well. She’s not a writer where every character just feels like a mouthpiece for herself, they’re all written with a distinct voice.

I can see how snowflakes with poor “media literacy” would be offended by them. It’s funny because the main character Strike is an ugly, fat, disabled vet, you’d think that kinda thing would be right up their alley. But he still fucks, maybe that’s why? I’m only two books in but I didn’t find anything bad in the first one, I guess there’s a minor character who’s a black girl chav that cracked me up because she sounded exactly like a bunch of the cows we have on the site. The second book is more obviously where the trannies started taking notice, the central victim character is a gross author obsessed with sex, gore, and gender identity, but still, i think it was incidental, not purposely targeting trannies. It’s buffalo bill all over again. But I can’t wait to get to the later installments, after she peaked and began giving no fucks.

This is all to say, the Strike books are good, solid entertainment, and anyone who says stuff like “JKR is not a good writer, she got lucky with Harry Potter and she’s coasted off that ever since” is simply a case of sour grapes. I’d love to hear more about the controversy over the books since at the time, I wasn’t yet peaked. I remember hearing stuff and thinking “JKR did/said that? Seems sus,” but I didn’t investigate and just believed it.

Also, I was originally just going to check them out of the library, but after reading the first one decided to buy them all. So nyeh, trannies, suck on it, I’m giving the TERF billionaire more money and power and you can’t stop me.

Over Thanksgiving, I read Harry Potter for the first time with my little cousins and I need to apologize to Potterheads for judging them. These books are actually quite amazing and my cousins loved them. I'm sure they loved the magic and mystical creatures, but I enjoyed the ties to history and British culture (attitudes of post WW2 Britain and how they affect the generations afterwards) and strong moral lessons that are important for children to grasp. "Love conquers all evil" is woven through every page and not that lame power of friendship, talk-no-jutsu shit, but the true love of righteousness, the true love of humanity, the true love between family, friends and even strangers will save us all from destruction. The lore is intensive and borderline overwhelming but in a good way. The world of Harry Potter feels like its own and there are certain things that go over children's heads but adults can appreciate. The way Dumbledore spoke about Grindelwald was clearly a little more than just platonic. Dumbledore being gay did not come out of nowhere.. Seeing how pure of heart she is and how she still stands by her convictions to this day is beyond admirable. I must kneel.

Minus several good boy points, well good girl points I suppose, for misspelling "doxing."

It's actually just one front in the Global War Against Reality that needs to be pushed back.

Sufficiently advanced stupidity is indistinguishible from evil.
I just don't get why that's all she seems to talk about anymore
Suffa, troon.

Men are not women.

Times sure have changed.

Me too. I like them. She's evidently been interested in the weird corners of the internet for a lot longer than I thought. There's already a pretty spot on brainless tranny side character in the second book (released 2014), and then she ramps it up again in the third. It's fucking funny.

When people compare their evil man of the week to Voldemort, it's clear they missed the point of old Voldy. They see their evil man as Satan incarnate, just like the wizards see Voldemort and are comparing the two when the whole time Rowling is trying to get the reader to understand that playing into an evil person's ultrapowerful alter ego just gives them more power over you and plays into their delusions. An evil man, no matter how powerful, is still just a man. This doubles in seeing the humanity in evil. Every person has the capability of doing good, and those that don't just choose not to. This is why Dumbledore made a point to never call Tom by his teenage edgelord name. Humility and humanity. You Will Always Be Tom Riddle.

I'm convinced this is where Rowling's peaking came from. She's defended herself in the past by saying she has transwoman friends, and I think she probably did. Back when it was incredibly rare, and they were just turbo-homos who acknowledged that they weren't truly women but they had to behave like that just to get through life, she probably knew and liked some of them. But when writing The Silkworm in 2013-2014, she had to research modern transsexuals in order to write the tranny character, and she found out how batshit they all are at this point. It probably stuck with her, she kept lurking to find out how they can believe their own bullshit, in 2018 she liked a tweet that was critical of the trans movement. The backlash was intense and she played it off with her "senior moment" comment, but I bet that's when she felt she had to speak out.

I think she's known about the weird parts of the internet since the 2000s. The HP fanfic community used to be full of deranged coomers, mostly girls and women. It produced a ton of cows in ye olden days of the aughts.

Tom Riddle was a narcissist who changed everything about himself to become what he saw as his true self and had no lines he wouldn't cross to accomplish that goal. Not to go full reductio, but Voldemort really does have striking similarities to Rowling's haters.

never wanted to be one

Nigga, I'm not a troon. It was an honest question. I hated Rowling since the Harry Potter days, I will never appreciate the head the Bible of the liberals came from

reeeeeeeeeeee

This guy smells like cheese pizza.

Back on topic - @Peepeepoopoo Witch I guess could see JKR spending time on internet forums for writing tips/hobby writing communities since the early days of the internet. She was in a marriage with a scary fucker and maybe internet socializing is all you can get if you're not allowed to leave the house or carry your own wallet around.

In my heart of hearts she lurks in the Lolcow Salon. Maybe the Beauty Parlour. They got ZEST there. Zest and chutzpah.
