Are there diagnoses in the DSM-V that are less severe than RAD, but still arise from neglect and inattentive narcissistic parents? Like I know people who are diagnosed with narcissistic personality disorder have a narcissistic wound from being neglected or abused in childhood, but that seems like it’s also an extreme diagnosis. I’m curious as to how and what a psychiatrist would diagnose and treat this type of scenario as when they reach adulthood. Thank you @GenociderSyo and @Oracular Slug for enlightening me.

We don't always have a diagnosis for who we are treating and then we used NOS (Not Otherwise Specified). Depending on the theoretical orientation of the therapist they would treat Atlas differently. There really is less standardization than people realize in therapy.

I've been out of psychology too long to have memorized the DSM-V but I used to know DSM-IV-TR back to cover, and from what we've seen, at present, I'd go something like an unspecified development delay with a referral to speech therapy.

When they reach adulthood though? Who the fuck knows. Could end up anywhere from "develops groundbreaking new landscaping equipment" to "smothered by grief stricken mother". Most likely though both boys end up being pretty similar to their father. And while Glenn is not a Good Person, he's also not a wife-beater or career criminal, so they'll probably be just your average Mexican day laborer.

Some kids need sleep pull ups for a long time because they sleep very deeply, so hopefully he just got up for the day or from a nap and that’s what he slept in. Rainbows, I know, but I really hope he’s at least mostly toilet trained by now.

I think Atlas just likes to have a haircut that's similar to Glenn's. When he got his first real haircut, he also had a style similar to Glenn. Kids just adores his dad, and it's adorable.

We simply don't know if he's only peeing in his diaper, pissing wherever because wtf boys?, frequently imitates his father but isn't really reliable yet, or is pretty much potty trained but still has nighttime accidents. Remember, we see Robyn's idealized version of her life, and she's not above manipulating her audience into thinking that the entling's babblings come from Luna. If he uses the potted plant as a toilet she's never going to post a "trials in potty training" video, it would be like it never happened.

Kids often potty train in the day long before in the night. Also can train with pee before poop. Potty training is often physiological and so if a kid's body isn't ready no amount of training will get them dry at night as it's not something that can be taught. So a kid needing nappies in the night at 3, 4 or even 5 isn't a massive concern as long as they're not getting UTIs or constipation (which would need to be explored further)
