UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson fatally shot outside Hilton hotel in Midtown in targeted attack: cops - Just Part and Parcel of visiting a Big City

I'm doubting they will ever find the killer.
$10,000 reward for information on the cold blooded, in the middle of the street murder/assassination is hilarious (that is what the police are offering)
I mean this crime only just occurred, so I think it's too early to call if he will get caught or not. The saying goes that most crimes are solved within 48 hours, and even then the feds are probably going to get their top guys on the case.

he didn't have a phone with him
Prob had a burner phone and plan paid with cash. If his intent is on fleeing, by the time warrants are issued for the Walmart security footage in whereverville USA he got the phone at, he will be long gone. Police only hope is that he touched the SIM card and left a thumbprint or something.

Welrods are not common handguns, and are usually chambered in .32ACP. CNN said 9mm casings were found at the scene.
Yeah, I'm also of the opinion that he didn't use a $5k plus collector's item for this hit, too. But B&T absolutely made (or still makes, not sure) them in 9mm, there are several up for sale on Gunbroker r/n if you have the cash and are so inclined.

A real, no shit Welrod from WWII would be either a survivor that one of our guys found in a cave in Afghanistan (lots of weird shit winds up there), or it was Ian from Forgotten Weapons who did it, because he's the only guy off the top of my head who would even potentially have one of those, lmao.

Nope. Why?

Don't disagree that the healthcare insurance business is inherently craven. My response is particular to this instance and the slobbering retard comments itt.
What about this particular incident made you think this thread would respond any other way though? You know the audience, you know who the decedent was, it feels weird to get upset about it.

Yeah, I'm just spitballing here. If it's true that three casings and three live rounds were recovered from the scene, then it definitely was a jamming semi-auto pistol and not anyting fancier than that.

I am putting 10BRL (like a dollar and 60 cents) on it being just a shitty hi-point or similar bottom of the barrel 9mm, but the shooter made a silencer and subsonic ammo while also training with it. A few dozen rounds worth would let him know if his design is quiet enough, and would let him get comfortable with the failure to cycle enough to remember to manually do it every round.

What's the issue with this situation? An evil man was put down like a rabid dog in the street. The world is an infinitely better place with him cold and rotting. Sorry to the wife and kids but their loved one (if he was capable of being loved) was a psychopath doing tremendous harm to the common man

As for the "slobbering retards'" responses I think you've lost touch with what is good and right. It's actually a good thing that he's now unable to do evil and perhaps others in similar positions will begin to rethink their actions, lest they also get gunned down like dogs. What's the alternative? Voting him out? Litigating him out? Asking your lawmakers to do something? Writing him a personal letter and asking nicely? Look where that's got us so far

Still, could be possible he have an accomplice who wait for him in a gateway car somewhere once he drop his gateway bike?
If they never find him, then yes. If they do find him, no. The first option means he has help and is likely a pro. The second option is likely that he's a dude who had a family member die, but was smart enough to put together a ok plan.
