Commonwealth of Virginia v. Austin Curtis Peterson - JA010478-02-00 Assault and Battery on Family Member & GC24002688-00 DRUGS: POSSESS SCH I OR II

So according to the Virginia Central Regional Jail, Austin does not have a bond. So he must still have a bond with the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Courts. But as of now they will not let him out!

How the fuck is he supposed to get to the rehab as court-ordered then?
Did his lawyer not bring it up during the hearing?

No smoking? Man that’s rough, never heard about that at rehab before.
I don't think it's really common, although the caffeine thing is, for whatever reason. They're generally focusing on the life-ruining drugs, not vices that will cause people to freak out if they quit them, but aren't really part of the whole psychoactive problem they're trying to address. It's generally a distraction.

It's probably just sluggish bureaucracy. And they might not note the bond until they've actually already driven him there.

No smoking? Man that’s rough, never heard about that at rehab before. How long is the treatment there?

I hope this is a turning point for him, but I doubt it.

Edit as @lol cow supreme answered this in the other thread:

Maybe this was answered in the responses to you (including lol cow supreme's answer), but it's fairly average for no weed/alcohol/hard drugs, especially in primarily red states (VA being one, typically). Look at Utah, Gambling/Lotto is banned, and you'd likely be sent to court (unlikely arrested, unless a large amount of THC) over a dry and empty THC vape pen. You could argue liquor is heavily regulated having to buy from state-run liquor stores, closed on Sundays and Holidays. Many other states are like this, and both red/blue states have even gone to banning flavored-other-than-"Clear" vapes or cigs. (Granted, very few follow these rules and it's easy to get a regular "connect" who hides product behind the counter if you're a regular who isn't a faggot snitch)

The "no smoking" is because it is a smoke free/tobacco free facility due to fascist "clean air laws". You know who else was anti smoking? Hitler. But I digress.

The flavored vape thing is banning any flavored vape not approved by the FDA. If you want to sell it you just gotta get the ingredients approved.

Give me a moment.

Update regarding Austin's Second Domestic Violence, and his still-incarcerated status.
A bond hearing has been requested and set for Monday, November 25, 2024 in Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.

This confirms that Austin is still being held without bond by that court.

He still might make it to rehab in time for Turkey.

Edited:
To include context on this second domestic violence charge it might stem from this leaked phone call from someone calling Austin's father Scott after Austin had gone missing for 2 days, and we found out he was checked into a mental facilty. He was arrested on October 26, but the incident date is October 19, likely the date of this very call.

I just know lolcow plot armor will come through for him again and he'll get that bond and will be on his way to fuck our moms this thanksgiving, I can feel it in my autistic bones

Non-American.
So he's not been let out on Bond because of the other charges, correct? Is this something his lawyer could use to state that he has been treated unfairly given the circumstances and help him get less time overall or released sooner?
I find it really hard to understand how someone can be given bail ability for one charge but it means nothing till another charge, on another date later, is met. Why is it not all sorted together by the same judge?

He was being charged under two different courts because of the types of charges he's facing. Some jurisdictions in the US have things like juvenile courts and domestic violence courts that will operate on slightly different rules in order to do things like protect privacy or offer alternative resolutions to people just going to jail because that would tear families apart, leave kids without a familial guardian, etc. Different courts can also handle different levels of charges as well ie. felonies vs misdemeanors. Last week's hearing was for the drug charges.

Austin had a bond hearing for his domestic violence on Monday, but it's unclear to me at least what exactly happened and we didn't have boots on the ground. The going theory is that he was granted bond, but is waiting on a bed to open up at the rehab he's supposed to go to. The name of the rehab is known to the kiwi who went to the hearing last week, but they aren't saying because they don't want it to get weened. We don't exactly know what's going on with the domestic violence.

The trouble with being an absolute criminal retard is that you can piss a lot of different people off. He's created multiple cases for himself in different courts over a series of months because he is a spritual nigger who can't stay out of trouble at this point. Austin's addictions have gotten so out of control that even the fucked up normal of the Peterson household can no longer contain them.

"Your Honor, my client has committed so many crimes, including ones when he was out on bail, that we're not even sure how many of them he can even put up bail on, so just let him go, right?"

Not really a winning argument.

December 4, at 8:16am local time, Austin has been released on bond. There still is no update on the drug possession case in Circuit court. It can be presumed that he will now be attending rehab as ordered by the district court as bond condition. What held up the release is unknown but speculated to have either been paperwork over the holiday getting the bond approved by circuit court, or a bed opening up in the rehab itself.
