So I come on to this site to check out bits I might have missed from fishtank yesterday, and instead it's mostly pages and pages of people posting nontent twitter posts about Alex B taking a shower...

Doesn't that numbskull have his own damn thread on this site now?!

Unless something has actually happened with him then I don't understand why people are clogging up this thread with his uneventful nonsense.
If you want to be a janny then feel free to send an application. But as it stands right now you can shut the fuck up, mr "i registered a week ago".

i am not surprised that a mouthbreathing britbong has the most retarded opinion ever

Despite the RV trip down sucking ass and the days of spotty nontent, the Vegas trip has, with the Ball Brothers finale, paid off. As someone who has a life and cannot watch this 24/7 live, I feel like it's better to take these risks when they were clearly floundering and unmotivated. It's kept people engaged and guessing what happens next. Sure it pushes the 'fishtank' format to the limits but if they did the same things every season it would drop off fast.

I would rather the wiggers try different things rather than have too much pride to accept when they've fucked up. There's obviously the more basic issues of not being able to hold a livestream on the road but like Sam said, at least they will have all the film available for the edited episodes. People are way too quick to dunk on things when they would have been the same people claiming this is the best season ever earlier on in the show. I think it's too much to expect 6 weeks of 24/7, 10/10 content especially from a small production like this. Also fuck fatty he got old 2 days in.

I think that the nature of MDE/Fishtank/Sam Hyde is such that fan responses are normally going to be exaggerated and vicious. They themselves are brutal and disrespectful to fans, which is fine - we agree to be a part of that by continuing to watch. The reverse is fair too, we get to dunk on them when they fuck up or act cringe.

Don't think for a second that they would ever entertain valid and respectful criticisms - they mute or block people who do that. The only solution is to clown around and talk shit, because that's the only language they speak.

I liked the season, but the boring bits wouldn't have been acceptable to their standards of other creators and I won't accept it from them if they would (rightfully) tear apart another person for failing that hard.

Seeing Burt have the time of his life with his fans last night was heartwarming and I don't know that a multi-day Cell challenge between him and Binx back at the house would've been anywhere near as climactic.

Can't quite agree with you there. The concert was fun, as were a portion of the IRL streaming challenges. But it's mostly been a complete nontent. The way they completely changed the very premise of the show without any warning bothers me. The shambolic nature and lack of any communication about uptime could have easily been avoided. That said, I still think the finale (whether that's today or tomorrow) will deliver the laughs and fun.

But I can't excuse what it took getting to this point. Will I still be bothered in a year's time? Probably not, but Fish Tank is a live show so delivering in the moment really matters. It's still the best season so far but these missteps were just dumb.

The parts that have worked show that it is possible to do Fish Tank stuff outside of a house. But I think they should have saved it for 3.5 or something. Much as I loved seeing Burt wide-eyed in a sea of fans, it'll be weird that we'll have a winner who was able to walk around outside and party off-camera. If they transitioned straight from a house to the concert that would have been kino.

IS ALEX GOING LIVE IN LAS VEGAS????

I agree. Ignoring the fact that the entire RV and Vegas arc is so disjointed from the rest of season three one could argue it's not even a part of it, to say it paid off is to say the hours and hours of downtime and a largely nontent RV trip (at least in relation to other time-frames on the show) was worth it for some Vegas shenanigans and a ball brothers concert. Did it have good moments? Of course, but even the most boring days on the show are going to have some moments of value.

And again, the same problems that we've been talking about since season one have persisted. The Vegas arc highlighted them once more. It was fun at times, but I don't think this will be remembered that fondly post-season. It brings the rest of the season down rather than elevating it.

For me the entire point of Fishtank is to watch eccentric weirdos get locked in a house and watch them slowly go insane from pranks, bullying, and isolation. It hasn't felt like Fishtank period for over a week now. What they've done would be like if midway through a season of survivor they moved the entire cast into an air conditioned hotel and just started chillin.

It feels like they've barely even been trying to make things entertaining since 2.0 fell apart

The portion of this season after Mizzy was eliminated (cleaning saga, FH 2.0, the days leading to the RV) is the worst Fishtank has ever been despite the very few good moments. I hope they never do this again and stay in the house for the rest of the series (if there even is a season worth watching in the future) unless it's a special half season. They need to leave the irl streaming to IP2, who are legit much better at it than Jet and Sam are.

Steam is up, bury is acting like a diva complaint he isn't being allowed to sleep past noon. WAKE UP NIGGA I NEED ENTERTAINMENT.
Edit: alright I want paying close enough attention, he was annoyed that he had to sleep on the floor. Fair enough, just kill mizzy next time Burt.

This is really the key point. People talk about S2 but at least they put in some effort setting up for Swamp Games. Yeah the BB concert was neat, but man...literally zero effort was put into making it decent quality for the people watching to the point where the director mode was straight up using a live feed from an audience member. Even when it moved outside, while better, the best cam had the mics out in the crowd where you only heard Binx/Burt fans. Once again they had to use an audience live feed for a lot of it. Apparently the idea of having the mics with the performers is an alien concept.

They come up with some cool ideas but really hamstring them with incredibly dumb mistakes that they really should be learning from. I guess "Hahaha, those wiggers at it again" is a factor, but come on, they clearly wanted to step things up with S3.

Chat was in riot mode against Mizzy last night because Binx took Burt's spot leaving no room for him. The RV gaslit Burt into thinking it was Mizzy's fault but it didn't work on Burt as much as it worked on chat, Burt didn't blame Mizzy at all. The wiggers told Burt to sleep in the back since it's 4x the size of where Mizzy and Binx were but Luke and Fatty told Burt to fuck off so he slept on the floor.

After the complete shitshow this RV trip has been, I doubt Sam and Jet will do this ever again. It was IP2-lite, but I'd wager it was enough for them.

I really haven't been watching but I think they could leave the house - but they would have to go somewhere that is also contained or isolated or something. Going to a major city obviously is just IRL streaming. I can watch that shit on kick or whatever already.

I don't agree with the notion that Mizzy leaving was the turning point. Sure, it being just Burt, Binx and Payton did signal the end because it was clear Burt was the winner and there was nowhere really to go from there that much is true but I still really enjoyed the show up until around two days before the RV trip. I guess when the cleaning began.
