One Piece - I'm Gonna Be the Pirate King!

Oh yeah, the rollback are my post.
I’m betting now that Louis Arnot is going to show up in some Void Century-related flashback.

Robin has met Saul again and I couldn't give two less shits possible.
Why? Regardless, I am getting the feeling that Oda is speeding things up. He literally reunites the entire strawhats in one chapter and now going straight to Saul. Granted wer can't judge based on early spoilers.

It can't be void century since Arnot witnessed Dorry and Broggy fight in little Garden.

I have noticed Ohara and The Hidden Island's religious interpretation of One Piece are the complete inverse. Ohara believes that One Piece is an inverse of The Bible where Luffy is a demon and the world government are tyrannical gods. The Hidden Island believes that the roles are the same as in The Bible in which Luffy is a true god or messiah and the world government are demons disuised as gods. honestly prefer the Hidden Island as Ohara's video. While thy both are probably irrelegious, Ohara's video comes out as frankly blasphemous treating The Bible like its a Harry Potter type fiction thatr can be radically interpreted and makes One Piece sound abhorrent in the eyes of an even slightly religious person. Half of his video feels like demonic anti-God Propaganda. Atheism really corrupts the mind.

What a day for it to rain.

It is amazing that we have only been waiting for this moment for like two years but it feels like it has been coming for as long as I remember. I love that Luffy is smiling during the last panel.

The Anime version of this moment is going to be amazing if they put effort into it.

I think something like this has been hyped up since Ohara was destroyed. I wasn’t expecting a young Robin contemplating by a ledge though.

The last time I saw characters reminisce their introduction by playing it out tongue-in-cheekily to a tee was in Ushio & Tora. Should be a thing that happens more often tbh.

the fact that sauls alive and seems generally uninjured aside from his leg makes me wonder if the navy just assumed anybody frozen by kuzan dies instantly and never bothered to confirm if thats true or not.

I generally presume that the number of Non-Strawhat people who have survived a Buster Call in general is pretty low.

I presume they assumed that most people would be dead after that (as they should) and I think that what saved Saul was that Kuzan held back and the fact that he is a giant.

We all know it's plot convenience, but I'm fine with it here since it delivered one of the sweetests moments of the series.

I'll just justify it as Kuzan being softhearted like so many other times and giant genes and fire being surprisingly useful to thaw out before death.

Makes me look forward to other reunions. One that would really be nice is Jinbei and Koala, Jinbei needs a few more heartfelt moments.

Also, on one hand I find it adorable that Robin is taking a motherly role of sorts with Bonney, you can feel the "you are not alone, you are not hated" every time she holds her. But it also makes me worry/wonder about Kuma's state. I'd expect Bonney to never leave his side unless Lilith did something and shooed her out.

I also really wished we got a reaction and formal introduction by Bonney to the crew as a 12 year old, lots of chances for moments are being lost with how strong the pace is.
