2024 Syrian opposition offensives - The first Syrian rebel offensive against Government forces since March 2020

If we confirm Assad fled we should do a community feature for it. He has finally gone.
@Null Please I'm begging you

"Occupied" for 40 years lol. It's part of Israel. Not to mention it's full of Druze on both sides of the border who'd rather not go into a conflict that will kill their cousins.
Didn't the UN(SC) say that the Golan Heights wasn't Part of Israel, or did that view get revoked/abandoned?

>nothing ever happens

Not if two industrial sectors are butting heads. Something actually might be happening for once instead of "just make more war". If one major industry sector has issues with it and is leveraged with government spending, war intel and lobbies suddenly, then we could actually see an end to this war.

This is fantastic... were it not big pharma. They terrify me more than the oil industry. They're now overlapping with the tech industry in general and are properly "technocratic". Oil industry are still old school it seems. We might be seeing a new dawn of MIC tyranny emerging. I think we underestimated pharma influence in the Afghanistan War. That could have been why the US just gave up on Kabul or potentially the opposite (why they were there in the first place). All I know is that opium/morphine markets are significant there. Perhaps there is a similar issue in Syria, we know they have a drug cartel crisis there.

No, they still demand for the israelis to withraw from the Golan Heights
UN General Assembly adopts resolution on Golan Heights — results of vote
UNITED NATIONS, November 29. /TASS/. The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution calling upon Israel to withdraw from the occupied Golan Heights, a TASS correspondent reported.

A total of 91 countries voted in favor of the document, including Russia, Brazil, India, China and Saudi Arabia. Eight countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom, voted against. 62 countries abstained.

It isn't as if it matters all that much, really. Israel only is where it is because that land was was kike land around 1800 years ago

The rebels are rolling with NO BRAKES
The rapidity of the rebel advances and attendant deluge of news just now have made this offensive feel like it's lasted 10 years, but it has actually only been 10 fucking days since HTS first started attacking into Aleppo (the governorate, not the city) back on November 27. Their initial operation was named 'Deterrence of Aggression' and everyone watching or involved (themselves included) originally only expected to push the SAA back a bit from the Aleppo-Idlib border, nothing more. Now we're literally 10 days in and Assad is already on the verge of losing his capital while his entire military seems to have dissolved into thin air. Honestly, it feels as though Russia & Iran never should have bothered trying to hold this guy up in the first place, had they not gotten involved this shit could've been done & over with 13 years ago.
Yep

Where the hell is @warhammerautist and his retarded copium takes now hmmm????
Why the fuck are niggers acting like Assad is like the fucking lee kuan yew or Ataturk of the middle east?
That man legitimately has no clue on being a statesman.
Because WEST BAD AND RUSSIAN CLIENT/IRAN CLIENT STATE GOOD

Ergo, /poltards

Meanwhile, in reality, Bashar al-Assad was a dumbass ruler with the charisma of a rock and was allied with a Shia theocracy and their pets and.... Russia.

In my Honest opinion, I don't really see the UN being as useful or impactful as they were in the 20th century, it's just performative theatre that gets dabbed on regardless of what side you even support, when you can just skirt around the rules and just have regular corruption or bigleauging by the SC countries. I think the final nail in the coffin is going to be when India becomes a Security Council member, may God have mercy on this planet.
