He was doing well for a month until he blew it with his TDS and Gooner bullshit (the Mayo video was such a bad idea). Even if the gay collab he's in gets posted tomorrow it's not going to save his channel. He missed so many opportunities to keep growing this month because he was too busy being a sjw bitch and a gooner-incel. Not even his gay plushies or his stupid pins helped his channel grow. The Mayo video didn't do him any favors because it exposed Doobson as a creep.
It's funny to see people constantly bemoaning and stressing over politics at the dinner table. These politics fights have never happened a single time in my life, so I just shrug it off. Not even a case where we have the same politics (though we do generally) and just have a small echo chamber. We just don't talk politics during our meal at all.
A lot of moderate liberals won't admit the last 4 years were the worst, but people are so tired of the political climate they just want to enjoy their holiday for once in their lives. When one of my relatives praised Trump during the blessing, the lefties in my family just kept their cool and tried to enjoy their meal.
Why the fuck hasn't his artstyle improved? This guy does art for a living, doesn't he? He has no other concerns to distract him from making art, so why the fuck has it only degraded? If you look at other animation (I'm saying this charitably because Doobson has powerpoints for animations) channels like Sr Pelo or TerminalMontage, their styles are also simple and shitposty, but they're also really satisfying to look at, like there is technical skill there. Goobus kind of just does whatever and hopes he can pass it off as it looking retarded enough that it's funny. And it's really annoying because he's been doing this shit for 3 years now. The most he's learned is how to pass off his fetish for spherical bodies as "character design." Like piss off genuinely, this is fucking sad
He blew up early on which taught him that just releasing animations was enough. He never learned any of the important things because he never had to until very recently. If he had never gotten significant viewership, he would have either quit or actually took the steps to improve his art. Both Sr Pelo and TerminalMontage were animators for years before they became famous for what they were known for which led to them becoming better artists in the long run, something that Doobus will never experience.
Pelo tried different things in his videos and career. TerminalMontage, despite the art, has competent writers who know what they're writing about. Doobson has done none of these things, and he doesn't want to. He can't even bother to make a cartoon past a minute nowadays, and unless some project is tied to his limited interests he won't do it (boobs, tranny dick, Nintendo, Sonic, FNAF, and Adult Swim). Zany voices and screaming with some tranny/leftist pandering will only go so far when people realize you're an unlikable asshole and a creepy incel gooner. That Mayo video was such a bad idea, and he missed opportunities to make money.

It's still not out yet, and this was supposed to be out sometime this year. Plushies and jerking off to your gay self-inserts with Doobson are bigger priorities than releasing your crowd-funded game.
