Sure, the American health system is not perfect, and there are many people without coverage. If you are middle-class however, your insurance probably affords you better healthcare than in Europe.

For example, our public healthcare here doesn't even pay for fillings, implants or even anesthesia at the dentist. You have to pay for that yourself. If you need an operation, you get put on a waiting list, and it can take months to years.
How do you get a fast operation date? You go to the surgeon as a private patient.

The middle and upper class in Europe have to pay double for healthcare, and I wouldn't call that fair or an universally superior system.

American leftists always think that social democracy in Europe is some sort of utopia while being completely ignorant to the flaws in the system.

Same with Canada, I would have died due to my heart this year and the private place I went to to took me in after the initial check up. Only issue I had was with the medication and not knowing I should do something with them if I need to fly. Now I go there for everything. Fuck free healthcare, paid is the way to go.
