It really seems like he didn't expect to make it out of the state and didn't really have any plan for afterwards based on what we know so far.

i bought a used 2019 car with less than 35,000 miles on it last year for under 30 grand. have YOU bought a car recently, used and of average quality and condition or otherwise? there's also several dozen models, 2024 or 2025 make, you can buy new rn for under 30 grand. some for under 25
