UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson fatally shot outside Hilton hotel in Midtown in targeted attack: cops - Just Part and Parcel of visiting a Big City

What are odds this guy is found dead in a jail cell after killing himself with a dozen gunshots to the back before this even goes to trial?
It's more likely that he actually commits suicide - he had no plan for after the shooting and may see the trial as a hopeless situation. Not everything is a conspiracy.

CNN is reporting he possibly used a 3d printed ghost gun and suppressor? That's interesting if true. Would explain the problems he had firing. Get ready for an "outcry" on 3d gun regulation in 3.2.1

Also, part of me thinks he was trying to get caught now. Manifesto at the ready, sat inside the McDonald's to eat, waited to get ID'd. Maybe he saw the writing on the wall with Eric Adam's announcing "we have a name, but not releasing it" and he just wanted a last meal.

Idk, just doesn't fit with how meticulously he planned this shit, up until sitting in a McDonald's when there's food in a market to eat, and less concentrated eyes.

He'll probably be treated very well by all sides in jail. It happens sometimes.
How he gets treated inside jail has nothing to do with the capacity for the general public to move on from Habbening X and forget nearly everything about it pretty damn quick

Sportsball fans are super into that great season we're having/just had and if you ask them a few years later what was the score of a random game from that season the most likely answer you're going to get is "???" even if that game was the fuckin Super Bowl

They'll remember some guy shot a health insurance CEO and won't be able to tell you his name or the CEO's name if you went after their toenails with a pair of pliers and a blowtorch. I'd bet most people couldn't come up with the CEO's name (Brian Thompson) right now

even message requests could further shape the timeline on when he went off-grid, because that's one of the main signs it might have been him after going off the rails.
Are there any estimates on when he went off the grid? It would be hilarious if the botched Trump assassination turned out to be what inspired him to do what had to be done

Shooter's cousin is a Maryland state legislator

I'm guessing that he was totally exhausted and that was a major factor. He had been on the run for 5/6 days and had probably barely slept at all the entire time. He arrived on a greyhound bus near the McDonalds, so he probably hadn't showered for 5-6 days too. That probably made him stand out even more. Especially if he was still wearing similar jackets and a partial facemask.

Interesting that his socials are still up, they normally get them taken down when it’s embarrassing for the regime. 🧐
There's a level of going off script here that makes this situation weird. Usually that happens during those weird cases that they don't want anyone looking into. Given how the media and Dem/Rep politicians have treated this guy like a retarded amatuer, they don't want anyone deifying him. Maybe that's why they aren't demanding his socials be taken down. Or he's the fall guy.

Very high. He killed a billionaire CEO in a country run by them, he's not making it to trial if it's the right guy.

Hopefully he was smart enough to have his manifesto freely available waiting to be found online before the glowies nuke it and try to make him a mentally ill individual with no known motive.
Hope he’s smart enough to go to trial too, so they can’t sweep it under the rug. Really make them work for that conviction.

Unfortunately, copycats won't be likely. The rats will hide in their holes increasing their security measures. It would be great if more CEOs got gunned down in the streets but the real impact of this assassination is millions of people waking up to just how broken the health insurance system is.
Because it means that leftists' whole revolutionary schtick is all just larping. There will be no copycats and only disclaimers that he was heckin' problematic whenever discussion veers over into whether or not this was a good deed.

If you know some of the people he was following on tweeter then you would know that he probably had quite a doomer mindset far before the Trump assassination. I doubt Trump/Kamala-tier politics factored into this shit at all. Because he wasn't talking about politics really but society-tier problems (which can be exacerbated by politics, but still a separate thing)

> is angry about huge corporations putting profits before health to the point of cold blooded execution
> repeatedly buys meals at McDonald’s
He’s been off the grid since June planning this or whatever so I dunno, probably low on money and just wanted the Sausage McMuffin Two for $5 and a hash brown.

Yeah seems likely he didn't have much of a gameplan after getting away in the long run.

If he goes to prison no one but super autists will remember his name more than a year after

If he dies no one but super autists will remember his name more than a year after

If he beats the case no one but super autists will remember his name more than a year after

It really depends. People still talk about Klebold and Harris. No one talks about George Hennard, who for sixteen years held the mass shooter high score, and only a tiny blip about it in 2020 when the restaurant he shot up, Luby's, was on the verge of going out of business as a chain.
