I think he is not faking tips 99 percent of the time but I now definitely believe he does it occasionally. I think the Null interview really showed his mentality towards everything in his life is about not letting trolls get a W. I think there are days where he isn't getting the goal and decides fuck it and just says he did so the trolls can't celebrate. I know he really thinks all trolls are on the edge of their seats to see if he hits the goal on every stream, but I really think most don't care too much. It's more about the squealing and begging over his goal that makes it fun. I only get annoyed in so far as if he gets whaled quickly the content is pure boredom instead of funny, but it's pretty easy to just close the tab if it isn't gonna be funny. I think he really over estimates most people's obsession with him.

Also how the fuck is he gonna do a top 10 best/most disappointing games list when he has finished almost no games? I know he judges the quality of a game from contributions only since he hates 99 percent of games now, but can he even fill out 10 games he has finished? Somewhat related today he mentioned Balatro, Indiana Jones, and Path of Exile 2 as new releases that he seems to really enjoy which is a bit odd since Balatro is 10 months old and he hadn't played Indiana Jones or POE 2 when he said that.

Even reading that tip sounds very fake because he wants to save face especially towards KC seemingly aiming at him now. He has quit more games than he has completed this year and he has replayed a ton of them too most of his reruns were dead on arrival like the Elden Ring magic run, Bloodborne which will get wage quit too I bet. All this circling around his frustration of a failed marriage and business and no escape except the wing and a prayer that your non-dead parents include you in a will. I think reality is really catching up with Phil and the notion that he has created a hell of his own making. I think too the pressure to sell up or refinance and the financial pit it is has him ultimately trapped because the following issue. He knows repairing the house is pointless because even if he refinances when he resells, he will gain nothing because the repairs and improvements negate the sale value and that is why he is fucked. He cannot sell and escape because the disrepair and he cannot refinance because the issue mentioned.

That and Khet could always spring the divorce card and really rail himand he would have less than when he started. Phil is petrified of reality catching up with him, that and his dying platforms, the KC gain is truly over we are in the decline arc and so far its been great and this is like 2 weeks in.

Remember Phil said the other month "I could get tipped $1000 and no one would know." He revealed his hand and the merging of the goal was just to throw of PoP and GoutGout anyway.

It's fucking insane that he wants big success on the first stream of a new game. He wants instant gratification for a fucking slow-paced open-worlder. As always, his own worst enemy.

The audience gets no time to get into it, they have to decide immediately or he'll wagequit it. Already saying he's not playing it again on the late stream, killing any motivation to invest time for the audience or any momentum it might generate going forward.

I agree and add its even more insane to expect to hit the tips goal before the game even starts. If I weren't so lazy I'd make a video cutting between his demand for instant tips and him saying you need to work before you get paid(receive a reward).

He has said himself he could fake shit and no one would know and no one knows what's real and what isn't when it comes to tips. Most dents prefer SC/Subs because there is more attention given in the chats for those since they can been seen and aren't behind the scenes.

There are like 3 times in the last month where he has done this anon tip after stall to hit goal and instantly turned off the stream it's pretty fucking suspect. He openly cares so much about felting the detractors and the streak at this point.

OIC isn't going to anon tip he has used 5-6 different accounts in the last 1-2 months alone and the rest of the big whales do kick subs at this point. When someone says they could have been lying all the time, will lie to you in the future and shows how obsessed they are with "felting the detractors" you should just believe them at some point.

Go watch the shit today I mean it's totally pathetic if you think that's real then I got a timeshare to sell you.

DSP only has a few whales left, and they all have distinct ways of contributing, like a signature almost. None of them do anonymous $100 tips with no message or name when the stream is already over. Though if it is a real person, I'd say it would probably have to be PlanetJeff (also known as OneMinuteMan and a million other alts) since those names stopped tipping after he got doxxed a while back. Planetjeff was a heavily pignotized faggot and I don't think he stopped tipping Phil just because his Facebook account was posted on the farms. Also, a few days ago when the streak was about to die, Phil grabbed his phone and started texting someone. A few minutes later an anonymous $88 tip with the message, "fuck 'em" came in to save the stream. Tonight Phil again grabbed his phone and started texting someone and a few minutes later that $100 tip came in. So if it wasn't fake, I'd say Phil and Jeff have an agreement that allows Phil to send a distress signal to PlanetJeff and tell him how much he needs to hit the goal.

I don't think there's any benefit of him lying about these end of stream hail mary tips. You can look at the past few weeks to see what happens with these tips, basically people stop donating cause everyone knows that someone will come into the stream and drop all the money Phil needs so there is no reason for them to spend their neet bucks. It engrains bad habits into the dents which Phil shouldn't want.

As for "Who is gonna donate $100 anonymously?" Just remember: That adamdbz90s'man was dumping 100 dollars a stream everyday and would only occasionally drop an emote in chat. Some of these dents don't want recognition other than the dopamine hit of a middle aged man child making money (some dopamine hit, huh?).

Plus, here's just no benefit for Phil doing these now that the streak is gone since it just means that he's closer to having to play korean booby game.

I'm of two minds with the fake tips. I actually don't think Phil logging off and showing no gratitude when he receives a last minute tip in overtime is proof of a fake tip. Phil isn't exactly known for showing much gratitude towards his paypigs and there were plenty of times during the vest streak where he did the same thing. Phil will never care about his paypigs and always clock out the moment he gets what he wants. It being anon tips also isn't really a sign of anything. Contrary to popular (or at least vocal) opinion, Phil still has a few other paypigs besides OIC who try and hide their tips. Usually because they don't want to be doxxed, or to hide their shame if they came crawling back to Phil. It's weird, but again, not new.

Lack of surprise is...something. I dunno, I wouldn't call it a smoking gun because, while Phil does sometimes get animated from big tips coming in, we've also seen a lot of dud reactions. We always assumed it was because a tip was pre-arranged, but I could see an argument for Phil simply being so entitled he's not surprised because he feels like he actually did something to justify getting $100+ from someone. The issue with it being pre-arranged is, why wait until overtime? There's maybe a world where some paypig promises to tip X if nobody else steps up so that's why they wait, but I feel like this makes less sense with the limited number of paypigs. In the past, I think paypigs used to build a warchest and wait for a paypig lull to have their moment, but there's too few these days for that to be a thing. But this is also the goutverse, you can only apply so much logic to things.

I also don't think Phil saying in the past that he could fake tips is much of a smoking gun. I think that was Phil just trying to dismiss detractors and keep his paypigs from thinking about his finances, especially when he was more commonly crying poor as a way to guilt trip his paypigs. While he still guilt trips, I don't think he really plays poor these days, it's less that he can't afford XYZ and more that he won't do XYZ these days. But we also saw from the bankruptcy and other leaks that the estimates are more or less pretty spot on.

What I'd say is...not quite a smoking gun, but at least a wispy gun, is Phil's recent obsession with winning against the detractors. Again, it's not a new thing in Phil's history, he's always had a "own the trolls" mentality, but I do think it's gotten worse lately. Probably because he really convinced himself he "won" by redeeming himself, even though said redemption was always in his mind, but that's neither here or there. Phil combining his goals is a big example of him being desperate to own the trolls, so taking it a step further and faking tips isn't impossible.

But it's also odd that Phil would fake tips after the streak died, especially when he showed he's willing to cheat with the streak before and either count overnight tips or simply declare a stream didn't count for it. I guess those don't own the trolls as much...but then why do them in the first place instead of faking a tip to "legitimately" keep the streak going just to own the trolls? But, again, goutverse, you can only apply so much logic to things.
