Manifesto update: Substack have taken down the account for a TOS violation
People are very divided on whether it is real or not. The main arguments against it are that the standard of writing is apparently poor for someone with his education and that it was created recently and also that his family was rich.
Have you seen his git commits?:stress:

My red is that he was partially frustrated that UHG and Dr Google were not on the same sheet of music.

this is pretty bad resume for an Ivy masters in CS.

His GitHub is lackluster as well.
Which is why he was fucking around with car rental companies nobody has heard of before rather than making 6 figures working for Silicon Valley giants.

Given the allusions to alternate therapy via psychedelics, the Pokémon character makes more sense now:

p.s. I guess this is for you:
Breloom evolves from a Pokemon that's literally a sad mushroom, Shroomish:

It's the same image as in his tweeter account banner image
And he was using a laptop when he was caught - he might've drafted/written it while he was bussin' around on greyhounds
It's not though someone in the thread already traced the image in the posted manifesto to the OP on FA.

This is his banner. Not all Brelooms are the same.

dunno if this has been posted yet, but this matt walsh xweet is a good representation of what the mainstream conservative take on the situation is. a guy on the street did something many couldn’t do, he caused an event that got people from all different ideologies on the same page in agreement.

now the people whose entire business model consists of team sports and causing divisiveness are in shambles. conservative inc wants you triggering the libs and supporting israel, so if you have any respect or praise for someone taking matters into their own hands and making a REAL difference that scares the people in charge, just know that matt walsh says you’re NOT a real conservative.

having an opinion in common with taylor lorenz? that’s like cheering for a player on the BAD football team. better not drink water either cause you know who else does that? the cringe evil liberal leftists. your terminally ill child was denied life saving treatment by UHC? you’re not allowed to be mad about that if you’re a REAL conservative, you have to shit your pants and do nothing if you want to keep your arbitrary label. according to the laws of facts and logic, not wanting to be fucked over by your insurance company means you’re basically a mentally ill communist. by the way buy a dailywire+ subscription to fund my summer vacation to the wailing wall

"Conservatives stand for law, justice, and a stable, properly ordered society."

I guess Luigi should have organized a protest outside of UHC headquarters and when he didn't get a response, whine about it on social media. Does that sound about right, Matt?

Brian Thompson was a rural suburbs kid from Iowa. His parents were working-class and he was a nerd. He graduated top of his class in high school and got an accounting degree from a college in Iowa.

He then got into Price Waterhouse Cooper (the big accounting firm) and thrived there. The way someone like him thrives is by hurting people through accounting and have zero conscience about it. He got into United Healthcare as a sadistic accountant back in 2004 and over 20 years made it to the very top of the company by bleeding out every dollar from every medical transaction the company handled.

As CEO, his great accomplishment was doubling the rejection rate for insurance claims associated with the company. Under his watch, the company now denies about 23% of all insurance claims submitted. His whole idea for improving the business was for United Healthcare to pay out less money to the insured.

He was in the most fundamental sense an utterly bad person. There is nothing good to say about him and his legacy at United Healthcare was one of increased profits through abuse of the insured. Brian Thompson was everything wrong with American Health insurance.

Was it really just a single man orchestrating his rise, or did outside forces push him to that point?

With such powerful response, he might get a congress critter to write a strongly worded letter

It glows, this guy is a patsy or this is a glow op.
he was smart enough to take some basic precautions and pre plan his escape route but too dumb to ditch the gun?
his backpack was 300$ wasnt it? he could have bought another shitty pistol to keep in case he wanted to resist arrest if they tracked him down and dumped his assassin gun in a lake or someshit.
Not to mention the gay manifesto carrying.
Didn't he also disappear for months beforehand? he could have just disappeared again.

This is the kind of resume that goes in the trash.

The only reason to do masters in CS are if you're foreign trying to get a work visa. No one competent does it because they make more and progress in their career by working.
The lack of internships in their undergrad is a red flag. ffs he was in Philly, SIG is located there and they pay interns $65 an hour with a $10k signing bonus for a 10 week internship last I heard.
