We already know all that. The thing protecting billionaires is whether or not the consequences are worth it to go and take shots at them. I'm guessing they will go after his family and either charge them with just enough crime to bankrupt them, or go full Brazil and arrange some accidents.
This will only cause more people to side with him.

Agreed. They will know the best thing they can do at this point is absolutely nothing because whatever they wanted to do will only make things that much worse for them. These are people that are used to being calculating in their moves. They will take the avenue that has the best possibilities, with the least risk, and the best payout. At this time, that is doing absolutely nothing and waiting to see how things pan out.

I'm not surprised the machine elves convinced Luigi to assassinate insurance CEOs. They're tricky, mischievous little guys.

But there is a method to their madness (...maybe).

yeah "value-based care" is just the current buzzword about squeezing every dime

This is 100% accurate. It's a "sounds nice" phrase until you know what it really means.

the public isn't going to forget that killing the elites is a viable option
the public will forget as soon as it's off the front page. everyone already knew this was an option, nobody was crazy enough to actually do it and throw their life away.

weird thing where niggers have more conviction than the average public. they'll empty mags to sell crack on another corner without a second thought.
it's such an other-worldly thought for the average person that when someone DOES do it, it's headline news for a week. they'll laud his actions and cheer him on yet the buck stops there... not unlike putting the tranny flag in your twitter bio, or a hashtag in your username.

I'd say it's likely he is a person with a strong moral and ethical sense and thought he was doing the right thing, but after doing so, it created a severe cognitive dissonance in him between his likely strong, Christian values that expressly forbid murder, and his sense that what he did was for the best of all the people suffering under UHC as a healthcare provider. He likely couldn't reconcile the two and it lead to him suffering severe psychological and cognitive agony, which lead to him making less than calculated moves going forward. This is not uncommon in people who commit murder that aren't psychopathic. They underestimate the psychological toll of murder, even if they believe it is absolutely justified. It's an easy way to tell the difference between the true psychopaths that murder and a normal person who does so in an extreme circumstance but is otherwise psychologically functional.
Alternatively (or in addition), since we know he is suffering from chronic back pain and had internet access, he may have decided that being on the lam in the long run wasn't worth it compared with essentially martyring himself, keeping this story in the spotlight and having a chance to make his case in court in the future.

However, I worry that he's putting too much faith in the system. The schizo tin foil hat in me is extremely concerned about his prospects in prison. An extremely sympathetic perpetrator combined with the most unsympathetic "victim" you could think of is a recipe for a powder keg the powers that be would rather not deal with, especially given the immediate response from the public where 95 % of people were cheering him on. They have an extremely strong incentive to "suicide" him to prevent this from going to trial and causing even more issues for their legitimacy.

I don't think the "suicide" thing is that likely. But I do think a Jack Ruby situation seems possibly given the insane amount of attention he is getting from terminally online people that live and die off of memes and parasocial relationships.

Right, this hits all the Raskolnikov buttons. No wonder the would be prison wives are activating so hard

This guy IMHO knew what he was doing and he knew he was going to get caught. He wrote down the reasons why he did it and know the world knows why he did it.

By getting caught means his story will be out there for a while than just a few moments before the Legacy Media goes one with the usual Orange Man Bad/progressive socialistic syndrome mantra that is currently on the news.

I have to give credit when credit is due to this dude.

He knew what he was going to do and planned appropiately.
He knew that he was going to get caught.
He knew he got his message down with the 3 shell casings he left behind.
He knew his manifesto will get out to the world explaining his actions.
He knows his message will be out in the Media a lot longer than the churn and burn progressive Legacy Media usually reports on.

Heh. It's just my opion on the subject

I will go against the grain and say that assassin, despite doing based things and believing some based things, if he would have power, he would contribute to the WEF/Bill Gates order of dismantling Agriculture. That was foreshadowed by the fact he retweeted Kurzgezagt, which is anti-meat/dairy and support Bill Gates talking points because B&M Foundation supports them.

Well look at his commentary about lab meat:
"Cellular agriculture is where solar power was 20 years ago, and EV batteries were 10 years ago."
👇
Free, ethical money for anyone who's paying attention. This succinct, 5-minute article by The Telegram overviews Agronomics and the current state of cell-agriculture. (http://removepaywall.com bypasses paywalls)
Important highlights: "Moore’s Law is cutting costs from exorbitant levels to something closer to “griddle parity” at lightning-speed. It is a fair bet that “cell-ag” will become the next Nasdaq darling as investors tire of the AI boom." "It is hard for a small investor to buy into this story. The start-ups are all private equity ventures. [Agronomics] is the only listed equity in the world today that offers a pure play on this technology, with a portfolio of holdings covering meat, dairy, dog food, fish, chocolate, leather and cotton."
"Much of the Western public will resist, though it is amazing what they routinely eat today. The first-movers are likely to be in the Gulf and city states with no pasture. They will be in China where water is running out and ever-rising food imports are a strategic liability." "Vested interests are starting to resist furiously but they are not fools. Cargill, Tyson, Nestle, and Brazil’s JBS are all investing in cell-ag as a hedge. “They can see the writing on the wall.”" "Lab-farming should help us meet surging world food demand as another two billion people move up the protein ladder. Ultimately it will eat into Big Ag’s $5 trillion market. We can then restore degraded lands and start reclaiming our forests. And yes, it is going to make another wave of tech investors filthy rich." --- $ANIC mkt cap of $110M as of 5/15/24 will 5x within 5 years. Unreal opportunity for retail investors.

This person is naive if he think the Energy industry will be destroyed by Solar panels, since it requires occupying a lot of space to become feasable.
And ignores Nuclear energy.

Same with EV. While I like the idea of charging your electric car at home and using it as a city car, current Lithium Ion technology is severely limited because of Lithium extraction issues, battery fire issues (ICE cars also burn, but Lithium fire is much harder to extinguish), weaker energy density and lower battery life that is expensive to replace

But killing him will also martyr him and further the image of him as an ordinary guy who struck back at the evil Powers That Be. From what I see the best chance they have is to try and let him hang himself with his own words, past or present, so a divided and polarized populace can maybe drop support for him for one culture war reason or another.

Fair point. I suppose it will depend on the success of the divide & conquer strategies of the system and how impactful this event will remain in the long run generally.

Reactions: I'm a Silly
Going through this guys manifesto and other postings screams ivy league, edgy smug douchebag. Aka the mystique is going to evaporate on this story quickly. People are going to see this isn't some masked vigilante striking back at a corrupt system, but a "I'm totally better than you because I'm smart" lolcow.

I'm hoping more of his college work gets out because I'm betting there are going to be some real hot takes. For example, the Christianity paper is dripping with edgy atheism.

Either way, what a way to piss away a promising life. Especially when he was living large thanks to his parents.
