McDonald's, in which may be the most American thing ever, work abroad as foreign embassy outposts. Because if you are dumb and you got caught up in a place you shouldn't be at the wrong time and you can't get to the embassy, where are you most likely to meet other Americans? A McDonald's, clearly.

So McDonald's are some of the most glowie and surveilled institutions out there. I don't doubt that it even happens inside the country in case of local emergencies.

My point, I'm not a conspiracy theorists, I never believed the "paid hit" narrative and shit, but that a random boomer called because he looked suspicious seems odd. I'd wager they have surveillance tech that tracked him down to a McDonald's where they confirmed it (or some glowie camera recognized him), and to avoid putting the company in a tight spot, or revealing secret tracking that goes on inside the place, it's just easier to say he got snitched on by a boomer.

I read some of the details of the guys life. My guess as to the motive:

He worsened his spondylolithesis or herniated a disc surfing. His insurance denied an MRI before he did PT. Ultimately he needed surgery, and he might have needed it quickly after the injury to give him a better chance of avoiding permanent nerve injury. Or the surgery was postponed due to prior authorization issues.

Guy might have shot the CEO because his dick didn't work right anymore b/c of a denial

Luigi getting unmasked has become an amazing litmus test for who actually wants to make this world better, and who is a braindead team player/grifter.

My father currently has cancer. He is not a rich man, having been a construction worker and builder my entire life. Even if his surgery is successful, there is no chance he is going back to work like he once did. As of this shooting, he has been approved for parts of the operation that he previously had to pay out of pocket for.

"The right" has only gained power because "the left" has forgotten about these people, who are everywhere and suffering. But if you choose to stand in the way of the people, you shall be shoved out of the way.

It makes sense as a motive - suicidal levels of seething for a loved one who was harmed - himself. It may not have even been unreasonable treatment at the hands of the insurer, but such was the unfairness of the outcome that he chose to make it their fault, and took revenge.

Sometimes when you do a high risk sport you can fuck yourself up and nobody can fix it, no matter how rich your family is.

It does sound like he took out the guy who, ironically, was trying to do what he could reform the system from a good position inside it.

I guess we will find out all the details, but I can see the tables turning with the facts confirming Luigi as the bad guy, and a LOT of people not being able to handle it.
