UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson fatally shot outside Hilton hotel in Midtown in targeted attack: cops - Just Part and Parcel of visiting a Big City

You can get away with covering your face and wearing a hoodie on the street - that shit will not fly in a hotel.

I consneed this point. I still would bet he didn’t have to go to any great lengths to find out about the conf though. If Brian didn’t post about it, someone would have and as you rightly say:

I think Luigi may not have even been targeting Brian Thompson specifically at this point, its more likely he was looking for any CEO-level person in the wider UH group.

People who knew him have commented on his discipline, particularly in the sports he chose to play, wrestling and soccer. He also looked to stay fit, which requires a certain level of regular discipline and commitment. I also think being class valedictorian at a private school demonstrates a high level of mental discipline due to the competition involved.
Soccer as requiring discipline? You can't be serious. George Best, Maradona, and Paul Gascoigne were not known for discipline, were they, and yet people still fawn over their talent. And really all of the grades and things depend on the school. The school he went to would've had smaller class sizes than a public school. Being valedictorian there probably counts for less than being valedictorian at a good public school where parent donations are unlikely to influence things. And high school was 8 years ago for him. If he's having psychotic breaks/"mental health episodes" none of that matters.

Are you joking? He has a billion women fawning over him right now
When it was a grainy photo that made him look like Timothee Chalamet they were fawning. With clear mugshots and outbursts outside the courtroom look for that to fade.

I'm sorry, the guy has a good body in the Hawaii photos but that face and particularly those damned eyebrows. I wouldn't trust him.

Eyebrows, in my experience, are a good indicator for how nuts someone is. If someone's eyebrows are really overgrown or really overplucked you'd better avoid them.

There was a story a few years ago, a baseball player was married to a woman who cheated on him with their pastor and did all kinds of crazy things. The picture of her they ran in the paper was like JFC, look at those brows, never trust someone with those brows. It was clear he didn't have a sister or female friend to warn him about her.

This guy - the eyebrows and this "co-living" thing in Hawaii - no decent woman would actually get with him. Some dirty hippie? Sure. But this guy's got a lot of indicators for being a mess even before he straight up murdered someone. Will women write to him? Sure. Will one even potentially marry him in prison? Maybe. But not a sane one.

  • He waited outside the entire night. So it was hardly like he knew it "to the tee".
He did not wait all night. He actually did his prep work on a schedule. If that was the case, we'd have a walking compilation of this dude on CCTV.
He was on the teeeee. So much so, he went to go get a frappe or flirt with a barista.
If I had no idea when this dude was gonna go to the conference at 8:00 AM, I would just hang around 90 minutes before and hope he shows up eventually, right?
Conveniently when no one else is around.

He knew his habits, and how he arrived to things. This is either luck or actual legit social engineering.
Arriving 5 minutes on scene before your target is expected to be there...

He had a gf previously - it was very clear on his instagram (which is now deleted)
I think since he broke his back he really couldn't do relationships/have sex due to the pain (previously discussed in this thread with anecdotes from one of his roommates at the hawaii thing)
The dude had "lady friends" sharing funny moments with him at the supermarket etc. His Facebook was filled with photos of him at social events around women and he evidently had a few "lady friends" (not necessarily relationships, who knows)

The roommate sounded pretty heartbroken about the whole thing.
The roommate is doing his interviews from a place in Mexico that is known for having hella bags of hallucinogenic drugs all over the place: https://hightimes.com/culture/magic-mushrooms-oaxaca/

Maybe he feels guilt (and this is speculation) because he knows that he was around when Luigi took ayahuasca (again speculated) which gigafried his brain and set him on a path to cutting off all of his friends/family and shooting a healthcare CEO in broad daylight.

Nigger bluecross canceled its plans to cap anesthesia a couple days after the shooting while scrubbing all the c-suite information off their site that they legally could.
There is an alternative take on the story though, providing for devil’s advocacy.

Supposedly anaesthesia billing is one of the major cost centers, and blue cross was trying to bring it under control by giving guideline costs for procedures.

Everyone is rightly concerned about why any medical procedure is so excessively inflated in America, patients and insurance payers benefit if this can be moderated, and here was blue cross trying to do that.

They had to back off after the ASA applied pressure and created a media shitstorm on behalf of their extremely highly paid membership.

So the “cartel” if you like, took advantage of the situation to keep prices high.

He’s going to skate on being a nut job isn’t he.
An American who inherits extreme wealth and is a beneficiary of its inherent privileges, that attacks that system that gave him such advantages, will always be viewed as a nut job.

I doubt he will “skate” but I promise the DA and judiciary will be very sympathetic to his powerful, respected family and the expensive defense attorney they hire to defend their “sick” son. His age, and the fact he appeared to be a well adjusted system enjoyer and participant until the last year or two, also lends itself to a mental illness onset.

What’s to be seen is if he will cooperate with mental illness defense or buck against it. Ironically bucking against it will help them try to rule he’s incompetent, which will get him drugged to “competency” and cooperation. I doubt the DA wants the circus of a trial so he will probably get offered a sweet plea deal that only a “crazy person” would refuse.

I do think the whole “back pain” reads as someone dealing with psychological issues but projected them as physical because that’s easier to talk about or use as an excuse. He had even told people he couldn’t be “intimate” with partners due to his back, which further reads as psychological issue to me.

@Oxyjen
The injury he got would have been from a "low impact" part of surfing:

He had a pre-existing condition (spondylolithises).

I also think the guy had a narcisisstic streak. Lots of shirtless pictures and tons of time at the gym.

I think people will keep cheering though. Even if he was wealthy, most of the poor schlobs bitten by denials would have done the same thing if they had the cognitive/financial resources to pull it off. Vigilantism might be rare, but vengence certainly isn't.

PSA:
Personal life lesson to everyyone. If you're laying in bed in so much pain you can barely move, go to the ER. I used to think the ER was only if you were dying or had an obvious stroke, but not going until I had neurological defecits was a mistake. Since then I've gone twice and prevented much more serious complications because of it.

Do you suppose it is possible that he was upset that he had to wait in the same lines as everyone else?

I think it is possible that he was upset his physician network wasn’t interested in his consultations with Dr. Google.

”We”

Lol this just furthers my suspicion that there is no McWagie informant, the authorities are trying to launder their methods. “The McDonald’s worker said they saw Mangione around 9:15am ‘acting suspiciously‘ in the restaurant, adding that he appeared to have fraudulent documents” in what situation have you ever been in where had to show any documents or ID to Wackdonalds employees being paid 2 Big Wacs an hour.

So I agree with you 100% but....
Just to play devil's advocate; it's possible when he opened his wallet to pay with cash that the cashier saw multiple fake IDs from different states

I hope he gets a Hinckley. Unlike Hinckley, he actually deserves it.

Put me on the jury and I'd be totally fine with finding the guy "temporarily insane" because he did something "insane" that just happened to be the right thing to do.
Doing God's will worked for Jeanne d'Arc.
Maybe not in this Earthly realm, but probably in the Kingdom of Heaven.

His daddy was a grain elevator worker therefore him being the CEO of the biggest health insurer in the US is irrelevant!!

Save your spittle for polishing the cocks of the rich
Yeah, class solidarity but dont you dare go and make something out of yourself! If you dont stay with the other crabs in the bucket you deserve to die! Brian Thompson deserved to be killed in cold blood, shot in the back by some coward because he was talented, studied and worked hard. And for what? A one week news cylce that will be forgotten next month?
This has nothing to do with politics, "uniting the left and right" or whatever, it's just a way for you faggots to project your ressentiment on somebody better than you lol. Bioleninism in action.

That'd make sense if they were trying to cap the money spent on it. "No more than X amount of dollars". Then the hospital, anesthesia manufacturers, etc now have a pressure to lower the cost. Patients have more power and can shop around for a network facility with cheaper anesthesia.

Instead the plan was "if the surgery takes an hour longer than we think it should, your ass is doing it sober". The only pressure that creates is on doctors to rush if they don't want to listen to screaming as they finish up. I don't want a doctor to feel rushed when trying to put me back together.

Watching Taylor Lorenz and Piers Morgan have a retard slapfight about Luigi Mangione and the ethics of laughing about assassination is only annoying to the extent that it reminds me every one of these "sides" should literally die in a fire. Half the random drooling cretins on this site have more sensible, nuanced and ethical opinions on the subject than any of these mongoloids with a megaphone, and their entire industry and empire of lies can't crumble fast enough.
