The more I watch of Binx the more I despise her. The fact that she was able to get so many simps feels like a huge blackpill.
Her stream yesterday was one of the worst streams I have ever watched, she couldn't even do reaction content properly, and streaming has been her full time job for over a year now

I liked this podcast a lot, felt like the perfect show for me. I decided to finally pay $5 a month as a way to throw some spare change at the creator. That allowed me discord access.

I was fucking shocked. A whole cult of personality around this guy, with paypigs lining up to fund this guys life. He would demand free games from them, and then say the game sucked and they owed him another. Funny shit. And the paypigs knew they were the butt of the joke but they couldn't stop themselves.

I left that place and went back to enjoying the show how I previously did lol.

This is why I avoid e celeb communities like that. They're less about talking about the show/stream/person and more about autistic cliques with cults of personality like you said. Even if you wanted to join in, it's hard to break into groups like that.

Lets say they are all real, Im not sure how much credence I place with the Weightlifting Coach accreditation, at least when it comes to knowledge. ive never been in that realm, but to become a USA Boxing certified trainer, all you needed to do was pay a fee lol. Then you could take amateur boxers to competitions and corner them. Any additional certifications were just another fee and going through an online course that was very hard to fail. I knew tons of accredited "Trainers" that didnt know shit about boxing. I would bet the Weightlifting Coach is the same type of money grab.

I didnt watch the Binx stream, but hearing you guys talk about it was funny. Streaming in of itself is NOT hard. But its a good litmus test on the amount of effort a person puts into something. In 2024 if you are having bad audio, you simply dont care. I personally dont watch a lot of streamers, but I do watch people who stream their shows or podcasts. To me the chat is usually a content killer, and the person reading the chat should only do so inbetween segments for a very brief moment of time. But I guess a typical streamer is expected to engage with it more or something. Dont know how people watch that shit.

What's good about the show is that there are many reasons to watch it, simping included, still I don't think it is an overwhelming aspect of the show at all, calling retards retards over TTS has to be at least on par if not greater monetarily.
Sam and the crew also do what they can to tone it down, like lowering the temperature in the house during Famous House 1 to try to keep Alexis in check, somewhat. Sam asking Binx to not be a thot as well. Didn't work, but there is pushback, its not something they lean into.

To me Fish Tank aligns with content he always put out. He is a child of the internet, and thats the target demographic for Fish Tank. I always thought his "self help" arc was just a grift, a method to get back into the algorithm. If youre lost enough that his rambling while eating and playing Fallout helps you in some way. Thats great. Take the advice and run with it. But dont look to him as your compass on anything.

Hilarious Ben moment but this was actually Sam's idea. I didn't know that until the S2 edited episodes where you can clearly see Sam whisper in Ben's ear that he should repeat the story from Trish's husband's perspective.

Binx's stream was almost like a parody of a streamer. She would play clips at higher speed, skip around, and cut the clip off before the funny part happened. For example, she played the clip where job gets kicked and cut it before the kick happened. When she switched to fishtank.live clips, she wasn't paying enough attention to realize when the clips were looping. Most of the time she was focused on her chat instead of actually watching the clips. She really only seemed entertained by the shitty Jet music and the Job vs Ian argument, which she let loop multiple times and kept going back to. The way she name dropped that tranny was almost the same as the way Sam name dropped the tranny from Mr. Beast. She leaked the DM of her biggest simp (who's name is a weed joke) confessing her love for her right after she said she'd never date someone who smoked weed. At random intervals what sounded like a sound clip of the tinman going through a woodchipper would play, which she claimed has always happened and that there's no fix for.

The stream was almost too perfectly awful to be unintentional. I wonder if Jet or whoever invited her to the show thought it was an act.
