Trans people, requesting a reply / QRT. Trying to understand a pattern I’ve heard anecdotally

Did you lose a lot of cis friends this year? People who didn’t show up when you desperately needed them, revealed their transmisogyny & engaged in social ostracization, or just plain ghosted you?

In my case, I parted ways with multiple cis friendships this year for different reasons, ranging from incompatibility to issues with transmisogyny to friendships souring in a direction I would call “potentially destructive to one’s self-esteem.” Curiously, have not had these issues w/ trans friends

However I’ve been privately approached from other trans girls about a pattern of cis abandonment, so I want to raise this question publicly

The impression I’m getting is “not necessarily this year but it’s happened to me recently” and “yes”

I would say I only lost like 25% of my cis friends to be clear, and my remaining 75% are lovely and strong supporters and have been there for me during rough shit and a lot of them are also a little GNC with it so you know, we’ve got some common grouns
