Largely because there's a few sick "fat cats" with a lot of money but no artistic ability who buy the same shit from more than a dozen different artists at a time. I myself have even done this, I've actually commissioned artists on FA to draw troll art for me, usually the price is around $50 a pop (for real good stuff). If you want I can provide you with some common examples. There's even examples of other babyfur artists drawing Sandypants, so by your abortive logic that makes them Shmorky as well.
