Keep in mind that "foreign power" doesn't necessarily mean " Russia and China". It makes zero political sense.

They have nothing to gain by harassing civilians, or provoking America. Putin talks big but he threads carefully against NATO. China already spies you on the internet (TikTok, Tencent, Chinese phones etc)and right now they are more concerned with international political strength than direct fights. You may be thinking of North Korea, which has a totalitarian leader whom Trump compliments and admires. Although the country is a total basket case, it is churning out advanced rockets which Russia is using to bombard Ukraine. These contain many western semiconductors.
They’ve also demonstrated an ICBM and probably have a nuke of some sort by now.

NK absolutely could have acquired or built such drones for the purpose of trolling the US.

Iran supplies MOST of the fixed wing type drones that Russia is using right now,, so again it clearly has the ability, and is already a pariah to the west, quite likely to want to do another 9/11.

South Korea is a powerhouse economically, but only really cares about the lunatics north of the border militarily, and have nothing to do with this.
