I've had some sleep.
I'll go all in on crazy town.
We're being visited. They want us to know they are there. They want to make a statement. Instead of using their traditional craft, they're using craft that look like our aircraft. Doing it this way is easier for the general population to digest this. You show them an airplane. But the airplane is not flying, it is hovering. This is a statement. This statement states: "This is what you have now, this is where you could be".
If you sent a bunch of Tic Tacs and Saucers down, people are definitely going to freak out.
If you start with something like an anti-gravitic "airplane", it's easier for people to digest.
They will eventually leave after a while, people will digest what has happened slowly, at a rate our society can understand and handle.
We are extremely fortunate that they are (for the moment) friendly and considerate towards our wellbeing in this regard.
What's going to happen after that will be good things.
People always say "look where the Indians are now after Colonialism".
I've studied Colonialism.
Colonialism today is depicted as Imperialism.
This is fucking retarded.
Colonialism was simply the spread of Liberal ideals and the institutions that uphold it.
Every country that experienced Colonialism was better for it (and worse when the colonies left). It was LITERALLY the fucking difference between slavery and human rights. Outside the Colonies you were a slave, inside , as a woman, you could earn a living, without even having to sell your body.
I don't know your American situation, but here in Canada, there are twice as many Indigenous today compared to pre-colonial times.
The Indigenous in Canada live like fucking kings. They don't have to work if they don't want to, they have free dental, their education is paid for, free health care. They have everything they could want. We Canadians didn't genocide them, that was a hoaks, there is LITERALLY not a single body "discovered" yet, and I've looked into it, the Indigenous here have NO PLANS TO DIG, because they know we didn't do it, because Colonies didn't do that stuff.
A Colony can only be a colony because the people there WANT YOU TO BE THERE.
Okay?
90% of Indigenous died from disease that swept the continent BEFORE THEY EVER MET THE EUROPEANS. That wasn't us. The Indigenous called that The Great Dying. It occured over a period of 100 years. It took Europeans a very long time to penetrate the continent. The Indigenous we met were only the aftermath of this great event. And we took and continue to take care of them, and there are now twice as many as there were before we came here, and they are living very well.
So all of our intuitions about encountering a more advanced society are wrong.
These people, who have appeared before us, have shown us a great level of consideration towards our global sanity in approaching us in this manner. We are very lucky in that regard.
I've stated before that we are likely their Nature Reserve. I still stand by this sentiment. It is VERY likely that they have and will continue to guard our borders while we continue to hash things out and develop.
As the situation across the globe has continued to escalate, it's likely that Russia/China/Space Force wanted to put nukes up in space. They may have already done it.
That may be against a regulation.
We may have taken things a little too far recently, globally.
We probably need to just chill out a little bit.
They understand that we are still developing and wont hold it against us.
