Oh god yes. To the point that they're trying to find a way to nationalize the site and hand it off to the old Twitter cabal, for "fairness." EU is trying to pull their own version too -- Elon not censoring the right means the site is guilty of wrongthink hate speech and they keep hinting they'll fine him infinity dollars over it. The second a center-right party actually wins over in the EU and they can tie it to Twitter they're going to go thermonuclear over it.

The whole thing looks like Johnson was waiting for exterior pressure to rise before leaning on the Uniparty members in the House to let him can it.

this bill is so bad it HAS to be a set up. What worries me though is how it was also set up to keep anyone from reading it and hold them hostage over the holidays if they didn't pass it

It has a large, growing middle class with an increasing demand for energy, natural resources, tourism, agri-food (including seafood), and outputs from other industries which Canada, and Canada’s Indigenous peoples, have in large supply. China also is a natural source of capital investment for Indigenous communities that need infrastructure to increase their supply of these outputs.

However, this has so far been a largely untapped opportunity. Only 17% of Indigenous businesses have clients in markets outside of Canada and the United States, and there have only been a limited number of successful business interactions between Chinese companies and Indigenous businesses and communities.
