From what I see the closest they've got to a no-begging-clause is this:

Phil just might be skirting the "no fraud" part of the user conduct part of the TOS. Patreon's rules are rather lax to me--they don't outright say "hey, no e-begging!" but I'm pretty sure people have been banned from the site for exactly that in the past because it really doesn't quite say so. The closest thing to it is what I've screencapped, unless I've missed something.

I can't see anything there that corresponds with what Phil does.
Besides he don't run Patreon as a way of helping his "business" but as a way of getting free money and/or selling products for a extreme overprice.

Frankly I've never found her to be attractive at all (and thats not including the voice or the attitude she puts out). But she's young, has a real job and seems to have friends. I'm sure one day she'll break through and find out what a greazy, hairy swamp toad she's in bed with.

Same. For me her personality is a 1/10 and I find her kind of ugly. I don't mind the nasaly voice in girls but when you are delusional like phil and shit that is a turn off. Like someday she has to wake up and realize phil is an asshole, it is just gonna take her some time i guess. Wow he owns a house! so do 4 billion other men. Also Phil doesn't own a house because he's like successful or anything he basically hit the lotto with his youtube stuff.

He needs to get out more, meet people, it will improve his immune system far more than hiding in his little office, all the fast food isn't either.

Holy fucking shit. That whole exchange. The undercurrent of resentment between them. The absolutely shit plug Leanna made for her own business. This sounds like a pair of people who are trapped together by their circumstances. Phil needs her to help pay the bills and keep his lifestyle going. Leanna needs him because he dragged her ass all the way across the country and she has nowhere to go otherwise. I hope my girlfriend and I never wind up like this. Fucking hell.

I have a couple questions.

1. I don't follow Chris Chan but do him and Phil share a financial irresponsibility?

2. Why does it cost so much to sell a condo? can't he just sell it?

If i was dsp I would have bunked up with mom and dad while selling the condo THEN moved across the country. OH but I am a moron as DSP says.

1: it's looking like it but pretty much everyone here agrees that Phil is lying about his finances. It's a known fact that his parents are very well off (His father works at a helicopter factory in a high up position and is also a professor on the side while his mother has her own business) and have at least a million in the bank.

2: the mortgage on his condo is roughly around $100K. But we have no idea how much he paid off on that condo before moving and we don't know if his aunt (if it was his aunt, it could have been his parents who are paying it off) was paying off the mortgage each month or just part of it or the utilities or anything.

When it comes to his finances we don't know. We can only estimate.

Who are these people that are demanding Phil get a High End Gaming PC? Are these the same people that demand he stream in 1080p 60FPS? The people who come for Hardcore Gaming Season? The one person who youtube searches for "edited content?" Phil, these people are not your friends. This is a very bizarre form of peer pressure.

Or, you know, they don't exist.

I absolutely adore the fact extra work is never even a consideration for him. He never says in conjunction with a stretch goal, "I'll start doing a third daily stream." "I'll live blog my editing/creative content series for two hours a night." "I'll do weekly episodes of Cooking with the King". Nope; it's just, "People have requested for years I upgrade all my electronics!"

The fact that he does not seek out extra employment or work opportunities is the strongest indicator that he is not as desperate as he makes out to be.

$1750 for a PC? I built mine for less than half that with parts I found on Craigslist and hole in the wall shops. And those places were selling gaming PCs for 900.

Also, who the hell does he think he's fooling when he says he doesn't spend money on anything outside of his "business"? He makes CWC sound like a professional bullshit artist.
