Looking at his behavior over the last few years, I think we can explain Jim's actions if we understand that he is, at heart, a COOMER. Trapped in the throes of an (alleged) terminal disease, has he found comfort in religion? Apparently not. Has he turned to Canadian heathcare to put himself out of his misery? Also no. What, then, is left to find solace in?
The answer: COOMING. He won't use either the church or the suicide pod. All he has left is the anime dungeon where he can stream Japanese children's cartoons for hours while Jade cooks up a nutritious Labrador stew. COOMING has become Jim's one refuge, his only escape from the pain.
So, in my most good-faith, steelman defense of his paypiggery, I will say that I think Jim was momentarily overwhelmed by the plight of a fellow COOMER. The knowledge that she was a pedophile slipped his mind. In that instant, all he saw through his haze of rage and pain was JewTube shutting down a poor, innocent, COOMER, and he had to act.
This doesn’t completely excuse his disgraceful support of a PTuber, but I think it does add some context. I would ask my fellow non-Sweepy Squad users to exend some slight charity to Jim this Hannukah season.
