I'd say these are the best two approximations. I'd argue it's the 22/45 model, since the trigger guard seems larger than in the standard Ruger Mk frames. Good call on the duct tape too, since very few (if any) Ruger Mk models have been released with just an underbarrel rail, which confused me in the screenshot initially.

Also telling that the assailant is white, your average neighbor would've gone shooting with some $50 pot metal BBQ gun.

The probability was still there, much like it is for anyone who gets thousands of death threats. It all comes down to if someone is crazy enough to enact it even if their reasoning doesn't line up with the other death threats and is purely nonsensical/insane with no coherent motive. The point is there's an increase risk on your life the moment you start making name for yourself in the publics mind, especially for someone like Fuentes who has done a laundry list of retarded shit over the past 3+ years starting with the Capitol Hill incident.
Now was I wrong about Fuentes claim? Seems so. Granted, Nick doesn't have the reputation of an honest man, it's your classic boy who cried wolf scenario and I'm not going to feel bad for judging Nick's honesty. The smart thing would've been to immediately post the video and police report before anything else, but of course he couldn't do that because he needed a 'gotcha' moment for those who doubted his claims. The interesting part is what were the motives, if any, of this man or was it a John Hinckley Jr moment that could only make sense in the killers mind.
But if anything that comes out of this, maybe Fuentes will have an epiphany and realize that crime and violence against others isn't really that "based" to begin with.
