I mean either way you look at it, if America was entered into an actual war where they needed to shift all industry to building war shit then you would 100% want Elon all his autism (for better or worse) to have classified clearance because he would very likely be a significant part of the American war machine.
Having been a contractor that has worked for Solar City, Tesla, and SpaceX, I would hold back on giving Elon the keys to the castle. Solar City was a money pit. Tesla is blacklisted from pretty much the US automation industry for not paying for work (this is why early Model 3's had notorious QA. They were still hammering doors into place like a 1970's Fiat). Getting paid by SpaceX is a fucking nightmare.

There are far more successful CEO's in the US that aren't attention whores.
Case in point: Bradley Manning. Top Secret. They gave a severely mentally ill troon who physically assaulted a female superior officer one of those, and even after he did that and acted severely mentally ill throughout his entire service, they didn't take it away.
Manning didn't have a Top Secret clearance. It was a Secret clearance. Manning had access to the SIPRNET which is basically an isolated version of the internet that only contains material that is SECRET clearance. That is why the data dump was so scatter shot.

Manning just collected everything he could onto DVD's and then shared them with people online to impress randos.

Jackie would have the same clearance, but not access to the SIPRNET, as a mechanic.

As for the TOP SECRET network, that would be the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System, also know as JWICS (jay-wicks).

Jackie was up early this morning and spent like an hour going through all her old schizo tweets about Elon and quote tweeting them and saying "I told you so" or similar. These are just the first few:

That Charlie Hebdo tweet is amazing:

Nice try, stalker, it's an ongoing concern:

Pretty wild considering Jackie tried to call herself the arbiter of the Good Journalists Green List while telling her followers that the others can’t be trusted. Pretty wild considering the Jesse Singal scandal where her allies are spamming death threats to the guy with a slightly varying opinion.

She blocked the guy, hid his tweet, declared it an "inauthentic reply", and started rambling about "him" (?) wanting to be a chancellor like Hitler.
Damn you Trump! Trying to be a dictator chancellor!
We rebuke you and your desire to, *checks notes*, have a limited role balanced out by other democratic branches of government.

Yes, imagine going on Twitter and calling Elon Musk a fascist in November 2022. Consequences would never be the same.

In Jackie's case, it somehow resulted in her accumulating a huge credit card debt in the preceding decade, leading to bankruptcy.

Jason Schorr Alvarez has a GitHub. I don't know dick about the Internet but I'm sure someone much smarter can provide commentary on it. The username is "echohtp" which may help find more stuff of his
Looks like a full stack React/Typescript developer, and I didn't see anything terrible in my cursory look at his shit. There's plenty of work for white non-retarded full stack developers, who are needed to offset the Jackie Singh-tier devs who do nothing/break shit. I almost feel bad for him that he could be living a decent life with a decent women even if he's a beta, but he decided to shack up with a fat retarded drug addicted whore, and probably pays for all the stupid shit she does (i.e. hire a team of security guards to accompany her to her bankruptcy hearing).

Not according to the DoJ.

I don't know that he had any actual access to Top Secret materials, since most or all of what he leaked was as you point out from SIPR.

I remember this from the original case, too, but couldn't find the document that mentioned his specific clearance, so this is from the Assange indictment.

PDF attached if you don't want to access a glowie site from the Farms or at all.

I stand corrected. I always made the assumption that he only had a SECRET based on what he released was all from the SIPRNET.

I always chuckle the way the army describes their 35F's.

They are basically data entry people for the most part.

Side note, this was the MOS that Jackie used to imply she had in Iraq.

It's not exactly an unreasonable assumption. Having a particular clearance doesn't even necessarily mean having access to information at that clearance level, just that it would be possible to provide it to you if you needed it. I knew someone who had Top Secret who was literally just a janitor. You needed that clearance even to be in that facility.

It paid really well, too. There are not many people willing to work as janitors, qualify for Top Secret, and can be trusted in a secure facility alone at night (the last is the least common because colossal fuckups often get Top Secret easy).

People also think clearances are some kind of “certification of skill” or some shit. They ain’t - they’re just “we’re THIS certain he can’t be blackmailed or coerced into being a traitor” where THIS gets bigger the higher up you go.

It’s still “need to know” all the way up - just because you have TOP SECRET doesn’t mean they give you every single item they have. You get access to what you need to do your work.

Ironically as being a fat broke deadbeat in bankruptcy, it’s likely snackie wouldn’t qualify for a clearance at all now. After the bankruptcy she might.

Yeah, when people through work find out about my background (I work as an electrical engjneer), they are surprised I didn't keep my clearances and with with the DoD or a military contractor.

The money is good for the low end jobs. On the higher educated side of things, not really. The idea of just sitting through endless budget meetings and shit, fuck that.

Plus it just locks you into one industry, you have to maintain the clearance, working for the government sucks, you have limitations of where you can live, slow as fuck advancement, etc.

Edit. I just realized that if Jackie sees these conversations, she is going to use this as proof the DoD, DoJ, FBI, CIA, Department of Energy, and your local DMV are all compromised by (insert group here) as proof the election was stolen and that she isn't a deadbeat or a chronic liar.

I was going to work for the FBI, but the pay was terrible compared to other locations. Then me and my ex split so never had to move to the States. I have worked for China though. Decent pay, they all but ignore your work so you basically get no feed back other than a few sentences saying "good job". Doubt I'd ever work for them again unless it was Tencent or something. They're more hands on it seems so you'll know if you're doing an actual good job.
