Predictions are hard because German politics are going to be extremely messy in the near future. For example, recently elected state parliaments are borderline paralyzed because refusing to work with a 25-35% party makes for fragile coalitions whose members barely agree on anything. In Thuringia for instance, the "conservatives" are in a coalition with an offshoot of the commie party. I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot more snap elections in the upcoming years, and who knows what will happen then. Shit could go down really quickly all of a sudden.
