UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson fatally shot outside Hilton hotel in Midtown in targeted attack: cops - Just Part and Parcel of visiting a Big City

Disagree on this. Luigi does not have any of the hallmarks of a dude who would murder someone just because, or without a good reason. He is too well adjusted, and too normie for that.

The perfect image of him on his social media is why I'm so fascinated by this case. It's baffling how literally no one has a bad thing to say about him and you can bet your ass the media is trying. Even a rag like TMZ basically dug up a video of him drinking beer like a frat bro, and him mentioning he was rich to some Germans he met on a backpack trip.
Btw if you check the hawaii subreddit, you can find quotes from a guy who says he lived with Mangione for 2 years an basically said the landlord that reported about him not being able to have sex was bullshitting and clout chasing. He claimed he interacted with them for maybe 30 mins in the time they lived there.

Stil looking back on the feds, I think you are right that it was healthcare focused, the full quote is
when he was arrested showed his "hostility towards the health insurance industry and wealthy executives in particular."

On a page marked with the date "8/15," the notebook said that "the details are finally coming together," Cobb wrote in the complaint. The full entries were not included in the complaint. Another excerpt said: "I’m glad – in a way – that I’ve procrastinated, bc it allowed me to learn more about (acronym for Company-1).”
I misread the "wealthy executives in particular" part that he was anti-corporatist in general. I hope they do make the whole thing public in the trial, guess we'll see it eventually.
I don't see how this is relevant. He has money and was doing what all rich kids do: taking a gap year and enjoying life. Plenty of people don't complain about their health issues, especially men. They just deal.
If he was independently wealthy he would be able to pay for whatever treatments he neded and would have had more options to sue the insurance for false denials. But he could be empathetic enough to realise how fucked up it can be if you are not rich as he is. In fact that's probably the case since he was posting supportive posts and giving advice in that spondy loli subreddit about his specific back issue.
He seems like he could be in pain in basically every photo or video I see of him. The "grumpiness" could be anger, or pain. Or depression. Or a mixture of all 3. Since we know this isn't his nature (he smiled a lot in many of the photos we saw of him, and when he wasn't smiling he still had a positive disposition), it's something else.
The guy's being paraded around and is on trial for a death sentence worthy crime, I'm utterly surprised he looks as good as he does. I look like a fucking corpse after I miss 4 hours of sleep let alone what he's going through.

If you look at the latest hearing reports though, he is described as having some cheerful moments with his legal team and law enforcement. Talking to them and giving some of them a smile. I'm actually hoping he's NOT dealing with debilitating chronic pain because it'll make what he has to go through now more bearable.

A friend who is a teacher was fedposting about this on her instagram account that is in her real name, stating her real profession, and showing her face.

Im guessing someone spoke to her as they are gone now but Bike Chad has made women dripping wet and retarded,
People are insane and want to openly write letters like YOU SHOULD HAVE KILLED MORE CEOS LUIGI, BTW FUCK ME not understanding the feds by law have to read and record every single message you send.
I wouldn't be surprised if he asks the COs to just reject any mail not from friends or family or his lawyers soon.

I'm not stupid enough to white woman overshare on that level. Maybe not being 18 to 24, I have a different perspective on this situation. It's not a bad thing. I know how much things should and shouldn't cost. I understand the ins and outs of insurance companies. I know some of the disparities of the actual people who are suffering due to income inequality, race, and gender. What I don't understand is how people are siding with a privileged young man who shot a privileged old man and then cried victim after a lot of his excuses for shooting this man have been found to be dubious at best. If anything, we should be criticizing both parties for inconveniencing tax payers with all this nonsense in the first place. Do you know how much it's going to cost to prosecute an obviously guilty party like this on a state and federal level?

No offense to the other women in here; @Helvetia's thirstposting is actually pretty entertaining despite that normally being against forum decorum
it honestly all started when reading the news while I was drunk and I just couldn't stop doubling down. I'm in too deep now.

To us, str8 men are considered a highly coveted diversity hire because they make our floors less catty and they're better at heavy lifting fat people.
ahhh. it all makes sense, you're menopausal. let me guess, without kids? go have a hot flush somewhere else, bedpanny.

Regardless of what happens, he won. Sadly he is going to get fucked, but people might look at this with hope to change things.
He's going to be safe enough in prison, shit, hopefully his roommate is one of those guys that got arrested in order to get healthcare. Maybe he did it, maybe he didn't, but his name is now in immortal memory as someone who took that stand. Maybe something will change, maybe something won't.

also cross posting from the secret santa thread, I got mine, and was delighted.

Because CEO's must be protected at all costs. The City is afraid that big corporate conferences and such will no longer be held in NYC because of this. After all, NYC has evolved into a place for the filthy rich tho throw money around.
While I agree, I think one of the lessons learned in all of this for future Mario Bros. (besides don't show the cops your fake id and ditch your ghost gun) is that you might be better off trying whack them in bunghole Minnesota than in CCTV NYC.

Can someone explain why bro is eligible for death penalty considering he killed only 1 person?
Because he planned it (and also lay in wait).

18 U.S. Code § 1111 - Murder

prev | next
(a)
Murder is the unlawful killing of a human being with malice aforethought. Every murder perpetrated by poison, lying in wait, or any other kind of willful, deliberate, malicious, and premeditated killing; or committed in the perpetration of, or attempt to perpetrate, any arson, escape, murder, kidnapping, treason, espionage, sabotage, aggravated sexual abuse or sexual abuse, child abuse, burglary, or robbery; or perpetrated as part of a pattern or practice of assault or torture against achild or children; or perpetrated from a premeditated design unlawfully and maliciously to effect the death of any human being other than him who is killed, is murder in the first degree.
Any other murder is murder in the second degree.

The defense could maybe use this to argue to drop the stalking murder charge on a technicality, if BT wasn't aware of being stalked by luigi and didn't feel to be in imminent danger then it's not a stalking murder.
Incorrect.
Specifically, 18 U.S.C. 2261A affords a comprehensive range of behaviors considered stalking. These include the following:

  • Acting with the intention to kill, injure, harass, or intimidate the victim. Note the wide span between “kill” and “intimidate”—both are treated equally under federal law;
  • Placing the victim under surveillance with intent to kill, injure, harass, or intimidate them;
  • Engaging in a “course of conduct” that causes the victim to be in reasonable fear of death or serious bodily injury to themselves, their spouse/partner, an immediate family member, or that person's pet, service animal, or horse;
  • Causing or attempting to cause substantial emotional distress to the victim or acting in a way that would be reasonably expected to do so.

I don't tolerate meangirl behavior.
The why are you here? Everyone’s been shitting on you since you got here, did you really think that acting like a sociopath would make you popular in this thread? You got a humiliation fetish or something?
It's horrible, I was subject to it my first two years as a nurse, and I know a very dear friend, who committed suicide as a result of it.
Your posts here indicate that the more likely answer is that they bullied you because you deserved it for being a shit human being, and your friend actually killed herself so she wouldn’t have to put up with being around you anymore. If you had half the brains that you keep trying to convince everyone here you do, you’d follow their example.

You really are this thread’s Samantha Prater, the similarities are astounding. Go join your “dear friend” already, I bet they miss you soooo much!

I sure hope no glowies saw that tiktok,
Glowies have likely asked every single company to hand over data linked to him. He seems to have been smart enough to journal this shit in a private notebook (and retarded enough to not burn it asap which is still bizarre)

Look at your military budget if you want to save on taxes. This is pennies to the feds.
I'm fascinated by him because I can't remember ever seeing a case of someone with this background (rich, well educated, handsome, seemingly socially well adjusted) deciding to do a crime like this. I want to know what exactly can motivate someone to throw such a privileged life away.

As for why the general masses like him? The vast majority of support is coming from zoomers. Zoomers have been trained from birth by social media to worship and celebrate good looks and they have a bone to pick with what they see is an establishment class that has nickel and dimed them out of a good standard of living. So it's easy to see LM as a hero, or a sort of power fantasy where someone punished the executive class for hubris/greed etc.
Me personally, if he did kill the guy I think he deserves to sit in jail. But not for life and certainly not to get a death sentence. If you're interested in saving tax money then putting him in for 15 years with chance of parole after 7 is the best solution.

I think he'll get a life sentence. Hopefully he knew that when he started his autism journey this year.

I doubt that one. Those are usually people who usually committed petty crimes and their health problems are settled in local jails. He's probably under heavy protection, and in a few years, when it's deemed safe enough, he'll be released into genpop with the big boys, who are usually extremely violent offenders. I wouldn't worry much about it, they'll probably worship him as a hero too, and he'll be protected by organized Italian gangs.

Look no further than the insufferable Patty Hearst. She was young, beautiful, rich. She was even popular after her crine spree and became John Water's fag hag for a while. Even the media was complicit in claiming she had Stockholm syndrome when she was just a spoiled brat, who enjoyed criminal dick. But she probably got off easier because she's a woman.

the jews are perfectly fine throwing an entire meat grinder worth of their population just to make sure hamas and hezbollah and a bunch of other fuckers don't win, and this is arguably the 4th time in some people's lifetimes that it happened.
They're not really that big on that whole human wave strategy shit since they can't afford it. They're big on maintaining a huge K/D ratio. For every drop of their blood that spills, they're going to spill a gallon.

He's in the same prison as Sam Bankman Fried. If that dweeb jew can survive prison so can Luigi. Maybe they can launch a crypto scam together.

You're a nurse at best, and you wipe asses of obese old ladies for a living. Enjoy your 250k a year, if you had brains you would be an actual doctor.
And this was her reply:
An executive nurse actually with extensive direct, hands on experience as a floot nurse.
tf is a floot nurse. Misspelling a chart can get a patient poisoned, miss.
I actually led an initiative to get individuals fired with histories of lateral and horizontal violence.
"I taddled, early and often, using the official good citizen channels. I fancy myself a hero and an advocate, like in all the shows I watch. Why couldn't Luigi do that? I'm sure if he wrote his senator or filed a lawsuit, those insurance companies would be dealt with."
To us, str8 men are considered a highly coveted diversity hire because they make our floors less catty and they're better at heavy lifting fat people.
"I'm anti-sexist, but women are catty and I make men do the heavy lifting."

Privilege is irrelevant; all citizens deserve justice. The CEO did evil things, profited from suffering and death, making all of it blood money. Brian took his life into his own hands when he made his draconian decisions. Eventually, someone would strike back. Being income bracket neighbors means nothing.
If anything, we should be criticizing both parties for inconveniencing tax payers with all this nonsense in the first place.
"Both sides." What a fucking moron. We're already knew both sides suck. Both sides support Luigi because he actually did something effective, which all our politicians never seem able to do. We all know the system's been rigged, and you're in here asking aloud why he didn't go through proper channels. You got your good girl taddle points and you wonder why the whole system doesn't work that way.
Do you know how much it's going to cost to prosecute an obviously guilty party like this on a state and federal level?
Won't someone puh-leaze think of the inflated, made-up funny money?!

The thing is, most of us who adore Luigi are not against rich people. If you got rich selling video games, toys, or poon, good for you.
Right, I only hate the rent-seeking parasites who manipulate markets and exploit the suffering of others for profit. Their existence is a literal drain on everyone else and their lives are even more worthless than a tapeworm or blood fluke.

I meant to type floor nurse, I'm typing from my phone, and my hands are small, so it's hard to reach across the screen, so sue me for not proof reading on my day off after having to proof read dumb shit for sometimes up to 18 hours a day.

The problem within your own race is you.
On my job, I've had to deal with Pettier insults, this really doesn't bother me. I'm a terrible person because I don't worship St. Luigi. A rich murderer, who you think cares about poor people, but is actually trying to set up a good defense.

I'm white alright , but I can acknowledge problems within my own race.
The problem with whites is women who hate their own blood relatives by buying into race guilting. You're the perfect teacher's pet student in the subject of hating your own race. I suspect teacher's pet is also how you are politically, that you readily accept and repeat indoctrination. You don't have the answers, just the ones the news programmed into you. You lost the election, honey. The majority says you're wrong. You've been warped by race grifting.

Privilege is irrelevant; all citizens deserve justice. The CEO did evil things, profited from suffering and death, making all of it blood money.
"Muh privilege."

Luigi sacrificed his privilege for his principles in the most direct way imaginable. They're going to make an example of him and probably bury him in a Unabomber tomb despite the fact he represents no threat to anyone who is not a CEO.
