Quite often I feel like we get people exaggerating the rate of phil's mental decline. I get it anyway its good fun to keep the band fired up and keep the dentizens on both sides going but sometimes the clips fall short and you can feel like you got burned by the hype.

I gotta tell you though that in 16 years of this shit that George Bailey LARP is some genuine grade A put his brain in a jar type shit. I think he just says inflamatory things to get attention nowadays and it shows, it's his WWE mentality at work. He loves to grab a microphone and say stupid shit like that but it was more fun when it was 100% serious and unaware of himself. Nowadays he knows or, at the very least, has a vague idea that him saying stuff like this is what gets him money.

Part of the reason why I stopped watching DSP is because he became aware that he is a lolcow and actively plays with that, Boogie and Wings had the same thing happen to them, they became aware of their lolcow status and started hamming it up to get views and it got worse when Keem and the KC got involved.

Or, in farmers terms, we are getting the milk but it's all synthetic and made in a factory.

I mostly agree but imo the "eat shit out of my ass with a spoon" rant was organic milk; he lost it. Phil acts like he wasn't a joke since grade school. If he was so unoffensive in his younger days, he would have at least one friend to speak of in the last 25 years that could vouch for him not being a piece of shit.

Like I'm a degenerate but could find 10 people I've met since grade school that would stick up for me. Phil thinks he was beloved in the early 2010s because he was making money, but it was just because he was early to the party. His schtick has been stale since people who put more effort into making Youtube content came along, and he has never corrected that. And I'm not even saying background or hardware wise, just the effort of not doing the same boring thing. His content since 2017 has been 1 camera focused on a chair/couch and that's it. I think the main reason for Phil's mental decline is his unbreakable narcissm straining against the increasing weight of reality.

I'm guessing most narcissists aren't as incompetent as Phil and it's fascinating to see just how far he'll go to puff himself up and deny any responsibility for his mistakes. It's like watching a machine try to adapt to a programming error--it just can't do it no matter how hard it tries.
